REFRIGERATION that works on stored thermal energy
PlugnChill eliminates the use of diesel for reefer operations reducing its operating costs by more than 60% while ensuring temperature stability of the container. The system charges within 6 hours using any power source and thereafter maintains the required temperature range in the container for upto 24 hours for a point to point transport. Unlike conventional systems, being completely decoupled from the vehicle engine, it has no adverse impact on the maintenance costs of the vehicle and eliminates any issues of midway engine failures. Therefore, once stored in a charged vehicle, your goods are definitely safe!
HOW DOES IT WORK

The container is fitted with cold plates containing Phase Changing Material(PCM)

It enables you to use your whole container capacity with excellent temperature maintenance.
The truck is taken back for charging.
2//MULTIPLE COMPARTMENT
Can transport chilled, frozen and ambient products at the same time. High flexibility in container size for each section. Ideal for multi temperature requirement or large number of openings.
CHARGING VARIANTS:
a//VEHICLE MOUNTED CHARGER High flexibility to park and charge as required, simple operation. This is the most popular configuration.
b//STATIONARY CHARGING UNIT
Excellent solution for larger scale hub and spoke model. High level of redundancy, lower effective capex, more loading capacity.
c//PLATE BASED
Used with the freezer box for efficient and complete plate charging.
The truck is loaded and ready to go for deliveries.
Vehicle is plugged in for 4-6 hours of turbo charging. The PCM in the plate solidifies thereby storing thermal energy. PlugnChill patented design ensures faster pull down between deliveries.

Perfect for larger containers with forced air flow, tighter temperature range requirement and longer distances.

TYPES OF ROUTES:
1//PRIMARY ROUTES
(POINT TO POINT DELIVERY) Maintains temperature for 24 hours with single charging. Constant cooling with the desired range. 14 feet or larger container is used.
2//SECONDARY ROUTES
(MULTIPLE DELIVERIES) Maintains temperature for 12-14 hours with multiple deliveries. Faster pull down time after every door opening to keep your product safe. 8-12 feet container is used.
3//TERTIARY ROUTES

Having worked across continents with a large conglomerate like Robert Bosch and several early stage startups like 3Tier, Flodesign, Promethean Power, he brings in deep understanding of product development and technology commercialization. He is a mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
RUSTOM IRANI - DIRECTOR
Rustom is a founder director at TESSOL and has been a pioneer in cold chain in India. Rustom runs Icelings, one of the largest manufacturers of tube ice plants in Asia and branded packaged ice in India. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in accounting and an MBA from Cornell University.
SS SWAMY - VP SALES & MARKETING
Swamy leads Sales and Marketing at TESSOL. With over 19 years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC sales, Swamy is an industry veteran and has held leadership positions with multinationals like Danfoss and Frascold. He is a Mechanical Engineer from RVCE, Bangalore and an MBA in Marketing from Bangalore University.
