Why runes? Runes, or rather, the runic alphabet, was used by ancient Germanic populations
in many areas of Europe, as far as Iceland. Their origins seem to be intertwined in the meeting of Northern European and Latin and Etruscan cultures. On disappearing from common use as an alphabet, runes remained a part of culture representing divine tools. Written on small pieces of wood and kept in a bag, they were used by druids to consult the future. We have chosen the rune Ehwaz to represent your
under the auspices of a positive symbol.
journey towards the realization of a business
The traditional meaning of Ehwaz is “horse”. Indeed, many agree that they are able to identify a couple of horses. Like Raitho, Ehwaz relates to a movement or journey, but, more specifically, to a means of transport. Whilst Raitho represents the ability to take control of a situation, Ehwaz represents the ability to adapt to new situations. Receiving Ehwaz signifies a change that often involves a journey, or a physical change in the place where one lives. It is a rune of transformation and adaptation that leads to solid growth and gradual development. Relationships and business can be the subjects of these changes and adjustments in an attempt to grow and prosper. Ehwaz will take care of such alterations and the collaborations necessary in this phase of growth.

why paper?
Someone told us that now everything is done digitally, that paper is dead. We don’t think that this is the case. We are convinced that the written word still holds great power; that gripping your pen between your fingers is a way to reorder the most human thoughts, very different from tapping on a computer keyboard. Because before you make a mark on a sheet you have to think: just like you have to think to create a successful business.

now let’s start! First of all, be open to ideas that come from outside your business. put your ideas down on paper. You can use “Design your business in 365 Days” every day for this. Even ideas for your business, like the rest of your company, can be improved. Connect with your ideas, extend them to your customers. Only they can give you truly high-quality tips and ideas, so that they can be applied immediately to your business. Ask them questions whose answers can give you new ideas for your business. Stay focused on what is happening around you.
your business idea is a creation of your own mind, the mind of an entrepreneur, and nothing else. All the rest is a tool that helps you to achieve it.
how to use this book This is a bookplanner with 52 challenges that you can complete in a year, one each week, to build your business. Feel free to start whenever you like. “Design your business in 365 Days” was not meant to be read all at once. Instead, consider the possibility of surfing it, concentrating on a small chapter each week. The following week, open the book and concentrate on the second chapter, and so on. We’ll call it “single-tasking”. It is not necessary to try to make all the changes proposed in the book. You can simply collect 10 aspects, or 20, and focus on these, putting them into practice for two or three weeks. You can choose 12 and apply one a month. Not all 52 challenges work for everyone. Just keep focusing on one of the others, or take a break. However,...if all 52 recommendations fit your business, feel free to follow them all. You do not have to follow the order in which they are proposed, but it might be fun to try. “Design your business in 365 Days” contains 52 challenges that I came up with and that I think are the most important. Why exactly are there 52 rather than 45 or 73? Also for a matter of practicality: in a year there are 52 weeks, 52 challenges, one per week. I could have chosen 12, but that would have been less fun! I present you with 52 challenges, and thank you for reading them.

dream_say no to all the alternatives
quote Steve Maraboli
focus on Everything begins in the heart and mind. Every great achievement began in the mind of one person. They dared to dream, to believe that it was possible. Take some time to allow yourself to ask “What if?” Think big. Don’t let negative thinking discourage you. You want to be a “dreamer.” Dream of the possibilities for yourself, your family and for others. If you had a dream that you let grow cold, re-ignite the dream! Fan the flames. Life is too short to let it go.
Let today be the day you make a plan for it.
Just think about how much more likely you are to hit your target when you finally aim at it.”
reflection questions
objectives Believe it. Yes, your dream needs to be big. It needs to be something that is seemingly beyond your capabilities. But it also must be believable. See it. The great achievers have a habit. They “see” things. Tell it. One reason many dreams never go anywhere is because the dreamer keeps it all to himself. Plan it. Every dream must take the form of a plan. Work it. If you work on it each day, you will achieve your dream. Enjoy it. Give yourself some rewards along the way and when you get there.
“You have had a dream for so many years.
Ask yourself: 1.
How much do I want to achieve my dream?
2.
Can I find time to work on it now?
3.
Does my dream excite me?
4.
Am I able to achieve my dream?
5.
How will achieving my dream impact my life?
priorities Take a break. Think about your dream. What is really important to you? Your ability to realistically execute a plan to achieve your dream is one of the main points to consider when prioritizing your dreams. If you are very clear about your dream, you should consider whether you are mentally prepared or emotionally ready to make the commitment required to pursue this dream. Don’t let this process of prioritizing become stressful or draining for you. Remember to reenergize by engaging in activities that will help you sort through your dream priorities.

main points It is not enough to have an idea of what you want to do, or to feel that it might be quite nice to achieve your goal. Imagine fulfilling your dream, and consider carefully how much you want it. Do you want it enough to put in the requisite work? Will reaching your ambition be worth the effort and sacrifice that you may have to make to get there?

day #2 main points Achieving your dream requires effort, and you will need to work towards it. You may need to train. Whatever it is that you need to do towards fulfilling your dream, you will need to make time for it. You must be confident in your ability to reach your dream and work for it.

main points Disappointment is the gap that exists between expectation and reality. All of us have encountered that gap. When something goes wrong, we say, “I’ll never do that again!” What a mistake, especially when it comes to our dreams! Failure is the price we must pay to achieve success.
“If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.”

day #4 main points It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else. It takes confidence to talk about a dream and even more to pursue it. And sometimes confidence separates the people who dream and pursue those dreams from those who don’t.

main points “The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.” Dreams require a person to stretch, to go beyond average. You can’t reach for a dream and remain safely mediocre at the same time. The two are incompatible.
