Lighter nights, warmer days – spring is a great time to head outside and shake off those blues. Visit the City this season for a fantastic range of events, concerts, plays, exhibitions and more – there’s plenty to help get 2015 off to fun-filled start.

Spot the on-street sheep with the Shaun in the City sculpture trail (p21). This baa-rilliant idea sees Shaun the Sheep statues interpreted by different artists and celebrities dotted across the City and wider London. If you’ve got the kids with you, pop along to one of the great holiday-time events for families at the Museum of London and Bank of England Museum (p8) – you could even try your hand at the Tower Powerhouses Family Challenge (p20). Music lovers are in for a treat with the City of London Festival Free Winter Concerts (p11). These free lunchtime shows take

place in a range of beautiful City spots, including Wren churches and classic Victorian institutions. If that’s not enough, don’t miss the New York Philharmonic’s residency at the Barbican (p17).
