We cover all aspects of life in London, past and present, its trade, people and buildings. FRIENDS Guildhall Library is the largest library collection in the world devoted to the history of a single city. We hold extensive collections including: lO ne of Shakespeare’s first folios and a variety of printed plays from his contemporaries l British local and family history lH istoric trade and telephone directories and poll books covering London and the UK l Internationally renowned collections of books on wine and food l Maritime History, including the Lloyds Marine Collection l ‘Incunabula’ – early printed books such as the Nuremberg Chronicle
