PROFILE: I have been a graphic designer for 4 years now and I love being able to create work that will benefit and inspire others. My strengths are in design, illustration, lettering and advertising. I am passionate about good communication and collaborating with clients to facilitate creative problem solving. I enjoy meeting new challenges and utilizing my time-management and organization skills to ensure that my work is completed to strict time-lines. 01 Rebrand

VASA Fitness

What was previously known as Gold’s Gym, did a complete rebrand to what is now known as Vasa. I was able to be the head designer on this project. Starting from a logo all the way up to the remodeling/ interior design of all of their 20 locations.

02 Thirsty Empowered by Coke

Coke

Thirsty is a new app empowered by Coke. I wanted to create a logo mark that would emulate the fun and inviting feel that Coke always portrays. I then created different deliverables for their big reveal of the app, including - hats, shirts, stickers, straws and water bottles.

Crimson Club

With various events and the constant need for more members, I have provided a lot of work for the University of Utah’s Crimson Club in a variety of different mediums. Including print, web and outdoor.

06 Here and Now

Sandusky

I came up with a new campaign for Sandusky Register’s online newspaper. Which focused on the nostalgia of a newspaper mixed with the contemporary and modern movements of the present time. Coming up with a new logo, website and all new brand for the company.

07 Logo & Web Layout

Pivot

What was once known as UTOPIA, a fiber optic infrastructure that utilizes light to transfer information was later bought out and renamed Pivot. This project was to create a whole new brand to get away from the negative connotation that UTOPIA had. In order to do this, I went with a playful, cartoonist style that still portrays the message in a professional manner.

Unicity has a strong presence in more than 30 countries around the globe and was in need of a new

website that

would portray this. I went with a clean, simple layout that would be eye catching and very user friendly.

09 Brand Identity

Utah Women Flyfishers

Utah Women Flyfishers is a small company that began in 2013, it is for all women flyfishers that are living or visiting Utah. They came to me asking for a logo that would be “femanine, but not too girly.� For the logo mark I combined the gender symbol for women and a fly, then added super clean and simple typography. The logo was then printed on hats, shirts and sweatshirts.

Based off of the clean and modern look of JB Architecture/ Design I created a logo and business cards that would compliment their style.

Brand Identity

Argos Shaving Co.

Argos Shaving Co. was inspired to name their company after the mythological dog Argos.

A

story from Homer’s Odyssey about a loyal dog who waits 20 years for his owner to come home from war and after a final reunion the dog passes. The bond between Argos and Odysseus symbolizes trust and loyalty. I wanted to create a brand that would symbolize the mythological story with a modern and contemporary feel.

FireFan

FireFan is a new app that launched Thanksgiving of 2016. With contracts from ESPN and the NFL, they are recreating the way you play fantasy football. I have created different marketing material for them such as billboards, flyers, business cards and bus wraps to try to bring in as many new players we can.


13 T-Shirt Design

IHC

I was asked to design a T-Shirt for the American Fork Canyon Ra Against the Cure that IHC hosts each year. This is a race that weaves throughout American Fork Canyon. I chose to design an icon style map of what the race would look like. Starting at Tibble Fork Reservoir and passing Timpanogos mountain and caves and ending at the base of the canyon. Super simple design that branches away from the traditional racing shirts.


14 See Film Differently

SLFS

Salt Lake Film Society was looking for a new campaign that would increase their exposure to a broader audience. I came up with the campaigns “See Film Differently” and “Support Independent Visions.” Both have been very successful and have created a fresh new look for the Film Society.

Rebel Yell

As a fairly new brand, trying to stand out amongst the crowd, Rebel Yell needed a consistency through out their social media posts. I was assigned to style and shoot photos of their new recipes.

Ansira With multiple different company events, Ansira wanted posters that would not only stand out and catch their eye, but also get them excited to participate. I did this by using bright colors, fun illustrations and made it more playful overall.

18 Alphabet by Sound

Onomatopoeia

Onomatopoeia was a personal project of mine.

I wanted to

create a children's book that would allow them to learn while having fun. I was able to make this a huge success through my Kickstarter campaign. Selling over 1,200 books and being able to have them in the little hands of children in 8 different countries.

Toasty

Toasty is a personal project. I wanted to create my own cookbook that would not only have delicious recipes, but also a very clean and simple layout.


20 Handlettering

Lettering Club

Salt Lake Lettering Club meets together monthly and does various lettering installations around Salt Lake. I love handlettering and this provides a great opportunity to not only strengthen my skills, but also spread the love of type to any who happen across an instillation.



21 T-Shirt & Logo Design

Alice & Gang

A group of Mini Cooper owners from Utah get together monthly and have formed their own “gang.� I created a logo for the group and had it screen printed on t-shirts.

A personal project to help kids learn the alphabet with fun illustrations of animals shaped as the letter it begins with.

The Living Room

SLC Downtown Alliance holds an annual Garden Stroll, where local artists are selected to create/design urban gardens in the Salt Lake area. Darby Society and I were selected to do a collaboration. Since our space was indoor we wanted to create a surreal experience for the people of downtown Salt Lake. We wanted something that would make them slow down and be surrounded by a beautiful monochromatic garden, which we called the Living Room.
