Since it opened in 2000 Murphy’s Ice Cream has become critically acclaimed and a national favourite. They use quality milk from the rare, indigenous breed of the Kerry cow because the milk is so creamy and luxurious. Now it is possible for visitors to go to the shop and learn how the ice cream is made and have a taste or two! They really do take the water from the Atlantic to make the salt ice cream! tel

Here you’ll find the real Ireland: in the Peninsula’s thriving & unbroken traditions of language and music, folklore and storytelling, arts, crafts and artisan food. Dingle serves up some of the world’s best food which leads us to The Dingle Food Trail. This trail lets you meet some of the people who produce this food, hear their stories and experience their passion.
