NBA CAREER CROSSOVER PROGRAM The NBA Career Crossover Program is designed to help current and former players gain an understanding of the educational and professional development steps necessary to pursue a second career of their choosing. Douglas Elliman will work with the NBA Player Development Program each spring/summer to educate and expose players to the Luxury and Ultra Luxury Real Estate industry beyond the game of basketball. We cover a two-day session wherein the players meet with c-suite executives that run each region. The NBA Player Development Career Crossover Program is an exclusive partnership between the NBA and Douglas Elliman Real Estate that was created to expose NBA players to various businesses and industries outside of basketball. The NBA and Douglas Elliman will host a two day, hands on real estate journey as a demonstration to the players a real estate career option beyond the game of basketball. Many players who “retire” in their late 20’s or early 30’s want a career after basketball. Many former players go into coaching or become media personalities, but what about those players who want to go into business?
