DCi is committed to a long-term and innovative environmental plan focused on researching and applying sustainable strategies.

Our sensibly crafted sustainable policies for internal (DCi offices) and external (meetings & events) inform each other and exist as a symbiotic system guaranteeing eco-minded strategies for our clients.

The goal is to always to leave the destination better than before.

Sustainable & Stylish Décor

We have a dedicated design studio that enables us to create eco-friendly and fashionable furnishings for our inventory. We repurpose many items to align with DCi's sustainability objectives. Sustainable Solutions include:

 Incorporating living décor elements that can donated to charitable establishments post-event

 Featured organic linens and tables and chairs made from recycled materials in event décor

 Our in-house warehouse has purchased a large inventory of furniture, supplies, and décor, which are reused and recycled for many programs saving waste

Recycling & Waste Reduction Solutions

DCi believes that each meeting can make a difference, not only to your guests but also to the environment as well. To extend our green practices, we have successfully designed programs with incorporate waste reduction and environmental benefits. Sustainable Solutions include:

 Provide biodegradable plates, cups and utensils by eliminating the use of plastic water bottles during all meetings and event components

 Reduction of waste by creating (3) stream trash systems at all offsite events and provided staff to assist and educate guests when sorting waste

 Ensure recycling takes place throughout the entire scope of the event including name badges

 Use solar panels to power up many aspects for our events, such as lighting, sound system, and electronic devices

DCi, latest alternative energy solution is focused on electric transportation. We focus on utilizing energy saving vehicles and electric transportation has been developing to reduce our carbon footprint. Sustainable Solutions include:

Austin, TX – 1,800 Attendees

Our team delivered a sustainable and destination inspired National Conference for a global automotive brand in the Live Music Capital of the World®. Each experience was centered around recognition, authenticity, and the brand’s ecoinitiatives. The CSR and Sustainable Goals of the client were seamlessly integrated into each element that DCi supported.

Highlights included:

• Taking over historic Rainey Street for an elevated pub crawl where our team created a digital map eliminating paper waste

• The street party including succulent planters, lanterns, trash, recycle, and compost bins were seamlessly incorporated.

Global Automotive Conference

Los Angeles, CA – 1,800 Attendees

DCi produced a conference for a global automotive brand’s dealers, corporate employees, vendors, and their guests. The high-level attendees necessitated the very best in offerings and each element had to align with the company’s eco-minded values.

Highlights include:

• Custom photo-op with brand ambassadors The Barkleys

• Transportation for 1,800 attendees from multiple airports to their (4) conference hotels and daily shuttles to the Convention Center.

• Sourced composting partners for all food scraps and compostable food serving ware

• The first-ever buyout of the trendy Anaheim Packing District and Farmers Park for an offsite evening event.
