We absolutely LOVE the Oxnard Salsa Festival for the food, live music and great dancing! It delivers the perfect dose of family fun. With snow machines blowing overhead and Santa Claus paying a visit, the Plaza Park Tree Lighting Ceremony is a must. Another event you can’t miss is the Oxnard Strawberry Festival. If you’re looking for the best strawberries you’ve ever tasted, you have to visit and celebrate with us!

Herzog Wine Cellars

Discover the best of California wine country — without the road trip. HERZOG WINE CELLARS, a state-of-the-art winery, produces 52 wines ranging from Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes for Herzog wines are grown in 11 wine regions across California, including Napa, Sonoma, Lodi, Paso Robles and Santa Barbara, so you can explore California wine country in one tasting room.

How do you make a good thing even better? With food, of course! Herzog Wine Cellars is home to Tierra Sur restaurant, acclaimed as “a foodie paradise” (ZAGAT) that “defies expectations” (Gayot), and is “beautifully appointed with impeccable service” (Los Angeles Times).

Magnavino Cellars

Walk into the tasting room at Magnavino Cellars and you may think you’ve been transported to Tuscany. Owners Robert and Barbara Wagner discovered their passion for winemaking while traveling through Tuscany during harvest some 20 years ago. Today, they’re pouring 15 award-winning varietals at their Oxnard commercial winery and tasting room.

The villa-inspired tasting room is elegant yet relaxed and a hub of activity. In addition to hosting private events, check out the Friday evening “Magnavino After Dark” series, when the winery stays open late and offers a small-plates menu. Come with friends, sip the toprated wines, and nibble on charcuterie and goat cheese crostini. There’s no better way to spend an evening. Open Friday - Sunday.
