And recently one has been deployed through the last 6 months in the Middle East protecting this great nation of ours in the United States Air Force. Philly rides a blue and white 2005 Suzuki GSXR

EMERALDCOAST For the first time ever on the Emerald Coast, the Blue Knights Chapter XXV hosted the Emerald Coast Motor Cycle Competition on March 28-30, 2013. They had competitors from Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and even one guy from Michigan, Larry Telling who followed a snow plow south. On Thursday the 28 competitors learned the patterns if they had not seen them prior. Come Friday the day started off with a speech from Sheriff Larry Ashley from Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. After all the morning fun it was time to get to it, first was the precision runs, then after lunch it was time for the timed runs. No surprise Saturday was just as fun and exciting. The Okaloosa County Sheriff Youth Explorers were selling hamburgers and hot dogs to raise money as well. Fun was to be had by all who attended. In the Advance (Novice) group the top three winners where Bruce Stewart-3rd, Larry Telling-2nd, and Mike Behm-1st. In the Expert/Motor Cop group the Top Gun was Jared and Kevin M won the Slow Race. Proceeds from the event went to the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, over-all $2613.00 was raised. There will be an Emerald Coast Challenge in 2014. Planning will start soon and hopefully the word will get further out and more riders will show. See you in 2014
