I am sure you have heard this before and it makes sense to you. We all have the desire to succeed in our personal and financial lives.
Do you desire to spend more time with your family, being financially independent, work from home or from anywhere in the world, enjoy your lifestyle on your own terms and having your own online business?
That was my desire when I decided it was time to get off the hamster wheel and leave the corporate world that I had devoted my time, commitment, expertise and life to over the last 27 years. I was left with what many people experience which is… high levels of stress, feeling fulfilled and not having time to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
After experience a career and life changing event in 2016, I decided that the time had come to achieve a vision I have had for many years. My vision was to run my own business, on my terms to create personal and financial freedom. The time was NOW!
I needed to make sure that whatever I did and however I did it, had to resonate with my vision, my passion and my purpose. Why you ask? Well, quite simply… if what you do is not aligned with your vision and your passion, you will not stay committed for as long as it takes to reach your goal.
This is something we are not taught in the traditional education system but, was something I discovered when I came across some of the most successful online entrepreneurs during my search for the type of online business I wanted to start and grow. 1/3
These entrepreneurs eventually became my mentors and my support system. Their vision is to wake up millions of people globally to the fact that you can be the master of your own destiny if… you have the right education, knowledge, tools, resources and support.
This community of successful online entrepreneurs became my most valuable investment and support structure while I was building my online business as well as after I had identified my vision, my passion and my purpose.
There is no stronger driver than your passion and your purpose. If you know from your heart what you are meant to do with your life and why, then I am certain you will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Am I right?
But what prevents us from following our desire with commitment? Here is how I see it… we are programmed from an early age that the phases of life are:
1. Go to college 2. Do the apprenticeship 3. Work for somebody else 4. Finding your love 5. Get married 6. Educate your kids 7. Get retired and enjoy your pension (if there is any)!
Does that look like a life of purpose, a life of passion and a life of complete fulfillment? When I asked myself that question just over a year ago, my answer was a resounding NO!
