Detonate has been servicing the cannabis space in Canada since 2015, providing licensed producers with our services in the medicinal markets. As legalizaiton came on full force, Detonate opened its long list of services to all retailers and auxiliary companies as well. You may know the Detonate name from producing items like trade show booths, POS displays or print materials from our core print business. Many customers in the cannabis space know Detonate from our partner companies - Detonate Labels and the O2O platform, both of which stemmed from Detonate and eventually broke off to operate as stand-alone businesses.

EXAMPLES
This custom-built tradeshow booth created the Muskoka feel using raw materials to showcase just who Muskoka Grown really is. The 10" media wall enhanced the Muskoka setting with a scenic video straight from the farm.

This booth was built to mimic a greenhouse environment with unique features such as fabric walls built into the wooden structure. This raised floor and custom wooden hanging sign drew visitors to come experience the brand.

This custom booth was designed for easy flow-through alongside two private meeting rooms. The multi layered halo could be seen from a distance to attract attendees.
The client’s logo was transformed into a larger-than-life interactive space with this custom booth design. These freestanding V's created a meeting room as well as an inviting area for games for attendees.

This unique booth showcased the process of growing organic cannabis using an acrylic table top at the heart of this installation. Filled with soil, dried plants and other materials this display captivated and educated attendees while providing a memorable brand experience.

This unique booth was built on a raised floor and featured a custom waterfall display to create an immersive environment for attendees to experience the HEXO brand.

This booth had one purpose and that was to let attendees know that the client’s new TSX ticker was LOVE. This custom built LED sign rotated colours throughout the show and could be seen as a marker from a distance.

The front of this booth featured an inviting storefront where attendees were able to process transactions and purchase products.
The booth transformed into a lounge at the back to facilitate b2b meetings.

This double-decker booth was the first of its kind in the Canadian Cannabis space, as no other brand had attempted to build a two story booth.
This layout allowed for a private meeting area upstairs and an educational session downstairs to attract and engage passing attendees.

This custom booth’s strategic use of laminate finishes and built-in LED panels gave it a clean, modern and polished look. This easy flow-through layout included ample storage for products and giveaways.

This booth featured a custom wood structure with hanging lights that brought a modern vibe to the small space. This archway was also used to create an entry way for the Edison Cafe.
Behind the branded backwall is a storage room to keep all swag and personal items.

Extrusions and solid panels created a solid structure which was then finished with custom vinyl to complete this unique look.

MOOD RING 10FT X 10FT Who said 10x10 booths can’t be fun? This was a custom built, CNC millworked booth with a special reflective vinyl overlay. The flooring was custom printed to create the sink hole effect.

This was one of the first cannabis stores built on Queen Street in Toronto. From design to build, our team brought the store to life with custom finishes top to bottom.
RETAIL POP-UP
PAX 20FT X 15FT This retail pop-up shop was the first of its kind in Canada operating out of a retail store in Calgary, Alberta. It allowed customers to flow through a simulated PAX store within a larger retailer that allowed customers to purchase products on the spot.

COOKIES 20FT X 15FT This pop-up installation took over the Tokyo Smoke flagship store in the heart of Dundas Square in Toronto. This multifunctional space allowed visitors to learn about the products on their own or with a Cookies staff member on site.
