A highly versatile and innovative composer whose work spans the classical and film worlds, he’s known for blending elements of orchestral music with contemporary and experimental sounds to create gripping, thought–provoking works.

The Peter D. & Julie F. Cummings Cube, a.k.a. The Cube
From poetry, breakdancing, electronic, and rock, to salsa dance, chamber music, hip hop, funk, and much more, there is something for everyone to enjoy in The Cube, DSO’s black box performance space.
The venue is designed to not only be accessible, but also relevant to communities the DSO serves through consciously curated arts programming that spans across musical and artistic genres.
The Cube is located within the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.

The Live from Orchestra Hall series is the first and only live webcast initiative of its type among major orchestras, and the most widely watched American symphony webcast in history to reach fans and further broaden accessibility worldwide.
