Outdoor School Tuition Information The cost for Outdoor School is only $75.00 per student. We want to make it as easy as possible for parents to afford to send their kids to Outdoor School, so we are allowing parents to pay monthly installment payments towards their child’s Outdoor School tuition. For example: Pay two installment payments of $37.50 Pay five installment payments of $15.00 Payment in full and forms need to be turned in by Wednesday, April 18, 2013! Talk with your child’s teacher if you need to make payments or need a payment extension. The last day to turn in Scholarship Applications is Wednesday, April 11, 2013! The $75.00 tuition is used for: Camp facility fee Meals Outdoor School T-shirt Field study notebook Counselor, parent volunteer, and instructor meal & camp fees Educational materials All Outdoor School instructors are volunteers who receive no reimbursement for their time spent teaching. All Polk Soil & Water Conservation District staff time is generously donated by the Polk Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Directors. If you are still having troubles affording to pay for Outdoor School, limited scholarships are available to help. Scholarship funds are limited, so apply as soon as possible! To apply for a scholarship, fill out the scholarship application on the reverse side and turn it in at your school before April 11, 2013. If your scholarship application is awarded, you will receive a letter informing you of your award. Outdoor School tuition can be turned into your child’s school. Make checks payable to the school and be sure to write your student’s name on the check.

Outdoor School Scholarship Application Outdoor School is for 6th grade students in Polk County. It is fee based for participants, but thanks to fundraising efforts, limited scholarships are available. It costs $75.00 per student to attend. Outdoor School money will be collected at your child’s teacher or at the school office. Please make checks payable to your child’s school, and write your students name on your check.
