Editor’s letter

Dear Reader, Welcome to the latest Costa del Sol Living magazine and yet another Exhibition abroad (for us that is!) We really value meeting our potential clients face to face and find that for both parties the experience is very positive. We are really able to understand each client´s individual needs with a face to face conversation and those clients also can see that we are a serious, real company – being based in Spain for 15 years. The market on the Costa del Sol continues to grow with an increased confidence each day it seems. Whereas we previously had a lot of product in each price range to offer we are now finding that the choice isn’t as great as it was say two years ago and we are encouraging any interested clients to view sooner rather than later. In our Spring Brochure we reported that we had started to see more new developments appear. This increase in new and contemporary product has grown exponentially in the past months proving what we have been saying for some time that the trust in the market by both investors and property purchases has never been higher in recent years. We continue to offer our clients the best of second hand AND more and more NEW product depending on their individual needs. Our plot and build service continues to flourish, see page 5 for more details, and although good plots with license to build are becoming more scarce, this method of ownership is becoming more and more popular. Especially given that each home is designed lovingly by the people who are going to live in it AND our experienced team of architects and builders make the process easy and straightforward. Our property management and rental divisions have had another fantastic summer with yet another record breaking influx of tourists from ALL over the world, fully booking all the properties we have in our care, and then some. Remember though, 40% of our Property Management clients do NOT rent their properties but would still like a professional team taking care of them and their properties needs throughout the year. A word about BREXIT. Of course this has caused some clients a degree of uncertainty – but I will say this. We have sold to clients from Russia, China, the USA and all across the Middle East this year. None of these clients are residents of any countries within Europe and yet they have all bought without issue and without problem of registry and travel. IF you really want to live permanently, or have a holiday home, OR take advantage of the huge investment potential in the Southern Spanish Costas there has never been a better time and you should just ´Go For It!´ The Costa del Sol really does offer it all, blue flag beaches, 60+ golf courses, 8 marinas offering all sorts of water sports activities, a very strong equine presence, world class culinary experiences, some of the best nightclubs anywhere and of course the option to ski 4 months of the year just a 2 hour drive away to the slopes at Sierra Nevada.
