^ This Bookshelf has been inspired from the design of the

High Court Building in Chandigarh, India.

^ Inspired by the mathematical shapes used, grid like

facade, use of primary colors and basic materials like concrete and wood.

^ Le Corbusier always focussed on functionality brought

together by form. This has been translated in the design of shelves of particular sizes catering to different sizes of books.

^

The space between the concrete panels is necessary to break away from the heaviness of concrete.

^

With primary colors against concrete and wood, this bookshelf comes as a visual treat to brighten up any space. At the same time it exudes practicality, making order and logic possible.
