DUBAI CREEK & HARBOUR Dubai Creek Harbour brings a new commercial hub to the city, offering retail, cultural and residential spaces. Located 10 minutes from Downtown Dubai, this iconic waterfront will redefine the future of living in the city. This new project is expected to reach 6sq/km once complete, which is double the size of Downtown Dubai. Part of this new development is Dubai Creek Tower, planned to be the world’s tallest at 928m. It will house a hotel and 10 observation decks including The Pinnacle Room, which will offer 360-degree panoramic views. Inspiration for the design came from the lily flower – the oval shaped bud at the top of tower housing some of the world’s highest observation decks. Developers also announced plans for Dubai Square, a tech-driven retail destination adjacent the Tower. Measuring 2.6-million square metres, it will be a retail, hospitality and residential district inspired by cities around the world, and will also house Dubai's own version of Chinatown.

THE PALM FOUNTAIN Located in the Palm Jumeirah, Watch water sway to the beat at The Pointe’s latest attraction, The Palm Fountain. Launching on 22 October with a Guinness World Record attempt, it's set to become the world's largest dancing fountain. Spanning an area of 14,000sqft, The Palm Fountain is also Dubai’s only multicolored one. More than 3,000 LED lights set the scene for a vibrant visual spectacle where colorful water jets shoot 105m high and dance to the tune of popular Khaleeji, pop, classic and international hits. The fountain has been designed with sustainability in mind – for example, water is circulated directly from the sea without the need of any special storage or filtration equipment, and every performance is choreographed using energy-saving technology. The Palm Fountain comes alive daily with shows taking place every 30 minutes between sunset to midnight. Arrive early to spend the day at The Pointe or enjoy dinner at one of the venue’s waterside restaurants for the best views.

Dubai is also known as a home to miles and miles of snowy-white, fine-sand beaches. These beaches are on the warm, aqua-blue Persian Gulf (known locally as the Arabic Gulf). Most beaches have basic services: bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers, and most of the official beach parks also have lifeguards. Some beaches even offer Smart Palms, which are free public WiFi hot spots with solar-powered device charging stations. There are some public beaches in Dubai for you to explore: JBR open beach, La Mer Beach, Umm Suqeim Beach, Kite Beach, Jebel Ali Beach, and Al Mamzar Beach.
