THE DEVON AIR AMBULANCE TRUST LOTTERY Rules of Play The Lottery is organised and run by the Devon Air Ambulance Trust of Exeter, Devon under licence from the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act of 2005. Registration and entries In order to play, the member needs to register with the Trust either direct or through a cash agent. An application form needs to be completed stating the number of chances they wish to buy in a week and return it to the Trust or cash agent. If they register through a cash agent, they will need to purchase a minimum of two weeks – one for the week in which you become registered and one for the following one. A list of agents is available from the Trust or at www.daat.org Once registered, you may purchase any number of chances, in any week, up to the maximum you have registered. However, we limit the maximum number of entries to £20 per person per week. If you do not purchase an entry in any week, you will not be entered in the draw. Each entry will cost £1 and there is a separate draw for each game. There is no limit on the number of entries held by one person in each game. You may submit an entry in advance – please tell the agent or the Trust how many entries you would like and for which date the entries are made. There are no refunds of entries made under any circumstances. Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy. Age Verification and eligibility Players must be 16 years old and over and a resident in the United Kingdom to purchase an entry. Any entry purchased by a person who cannot later produce proof of age and being over 16, shall be forfeit to the Trust together with any allocated prize. Entries may only be purchased by individuals and may not be purchased for and on behalf of other persons or transferred to another person. /mnt/tmp/tmpBN6LVS

If a person dies holding an entry before the draw takes place, any prize allocated will revert to the Trust. Trustees and the promoters are not eligible. Cash Agents Have the responsibility to ensure that all staff who promote/sell lottery membership are 16 years or over. May ask for age verification, if unsure if the person applying is under 16 years ie passport, driving licence, official student card. Can refuse anyone that they feel should be excluded from entering (see self exclusion). Must report to the Trust of anyone they feel should be or have been excluded from the Lottery. Inform the Trust of any disputes. Prizes On each draw date there will be a random selection of thirteen numbers. The first entry drawn will receive ÂŁ1350 and the second and third will receive ÂŁ135 each. There will then be ten further prizes of ÂŁ50.00. Prizes are tax free. All prizes will be paid by cheque sent out immediately after the draw has taken place by first class post. Responsibility and lost cheques The Trust accepts no responsibility for the Trust failing to notify the holders of the winning numbers or for the winners failing to provide adequate evidence of identification, age and residency to the satisfaction of the Trust. Whilst every effort will be made by the Trust to put a stop order on cheques which go astray in the post, are lost or are stolen, the Trust cannot accept responsibility for the same. Prizes not claimed or not paid out within 90 days of the draw will be cancelled and the prize retained by the Trust as a donation.
