DENIM FASHION TRENDS

FOR 2022!

Denim…the most versatile fabric in fashion! Whether the look is high waisted, low rise or high rise, denim continues to be the king of fashion. It is just crazy to see how much denim has become such a big fashion statement from everywhere around the world. Distressed denim with sparkly cowboy boots with pops of bright pink are quite the look. Pairing leather with crystal embellished jeans is a popular look in Santa Fe.

Current trends are denim Cargo pants with oversized pockets and contrast stitching as well as Slouchy high-rise or dark wash skinny jeans are growing in popularity. Patchwork and destroyed denim fabrics will also be a big part of the denim story. Silk blouses with slouchy jeans and high waisted or light-washed boot cut jeans add a casual vibe to your personality. Denim on denim looks are popular whether it’s a denim skirt paired with a denim crop top!

Not to be outdone…butterfly print dresses and cut out bras with tank tops are gaining in popularity.

I WANT TO INTRODUCE MY YOUNGEST SON ANDRE, who joined the business in June 2021 after graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Business Degree. To prepare him to enter the jewelry business, I sent him to New Approach Jewelry School in Tennessee for three months. He learned diamond setting and fabrication. Andre graduated top of his class in November 2021. Soon he will be going again in August to learn Computer Aided Design. For the time being, he is helping me with custom jewelry work and repairs. I invite you to come by so you can meet him. I have used Mr. Kallas for everything from designing and making new jewelry to basic repairs and resizing. Everything is done impeccably and James is easy to work with on design. Recommend!
