WHAT IS THE SUSTAINABILITY BRAND IDENTITY? The core of SUNY Oswego’s Sustainability Office Brand Identity values style, awareness, and knowledge. The Brand was created to give the Office an overall consistent presence with marketing materials, and be an identifier to the campus community. The Identity helps designers promotes issues, knowledge, and awareness of the office’s mission to SUNY Oswego.

Logo Guide Requirements • .5 inch spacing (or equvilate ratio to document size) around the logo at all times • Do not distort logo from orginal format • Do not move linework or any type from orginal placement • Do not alter 2 logo colors with expection of:

-One solid colored logo (black or white) on a background with no distracting background elements.

• Logo color may differ from black or white verison only if the background is contrasting apporiately.

The black logo usage should be limited to when the color logo cannot be used due to confliting backgrounds. The black logo should only be used on a light contrasting background.

White

The white logo usage should be limited to when the color logo cannot be used due to confliting backgrounds. The white logo should only be used on a dark contrasting background.

Typographic Choices Type For the Office’s Brand Identity, Open Sans (sans-serif) or Roboto Slab (serif), as the main typographic opitions for the Office. Other opitions can be used depending on the marketing matieral, these are just the general typefaces used by the offices.

Sustainabilibuddies: The Sustainabilibuddies are members of the SUNY Oswego Community dedicated to the conversation preservation of our planets future through sustainable resources. This is the current logo and signage related to this organization, which is within the Office of Sustainability.
