Dewald Badenhorst

I am a young South African architect. I have worked on a range of medium and large scale commercial projects, in both the design concept and construction phases. This has allowed me to develop as a young architect and hone my design, detail and project management skills. Most notably I was highly involved in running the office for a 28 000m², 5 star green rated municipal headquarters for the City of Tshwane. I enjoy developing and implementing procedures that allows BIM to be more efficiently incorporated into work-flow. This allows projects to be executed more quickly and accurately. I enjoy problem solving and tackling unique situations in different ways. My core interests include the intricacies of design and using three dimensional software to visualise these elements more holistically.
