I am Dharan Koruduvar, and I believe that cities are made of many trajectories, interminably interdependent, which together sway the processes of change that guide it across time. I want to work within these paths to adjust, balance, exploit and celebrate the possibilities of their intersections, and address their points of conflict.

To create a spatially comfortable and active recreational spaces to increase their quality of life and to use a hierarchy of space to approach various user group In the next 20-30 years urban population explosion will demand 3000 new cities, with maximum of these in South Asia. A major concern within these is to incorporate the city and a mix of program without compromising spatial quality and comfort in order to cope with climatic changes. The site chosen for the main project is the derelict area of Calico mill lands and its surroundings. Through the studies of urban tissue samples and the analysis made of the interactions across various hierarchical levels within the built fabric, develop a generative set of rules at neighborhood scale, using a strategy for urban intervention based on the readings of the site and the context. Eventual aim will be the design of an urban tissue and its systems, and the detailed design of one ‘cell’ within it.

Evaluating fitness criteria is both at an individual block level and how that block functions in a neighborhood i.e. superblock. Here,on the basis of the values of all the fitness criteria of individual block, certain individuals have been grouped together in order to categorize specific uses for each superblock. Further evaluation of the fitness criteria of these superblock through evolutionary computation is necessary in order to understand which individuals are catering to the better performance of the superblock

The studio involve idea level exploration, program formulation and design development of different scales of spaces used for individual and collective living in the city. Evolving appropriate design response to a particular context is imagined to be a block in planned sector of the city, a defunct railway line, surrounded by housing of various user mix and typologies is central to the design process. My project is sports oriented where I am trying to give neighborhood the grounds for sports like volleyball, basketball,mini-football and lawn tennis with the professional dimensions where I am also designing in a way that the site should have the well distinguish public and private use for residents. For differentiating the public and private I have played with the level difference of the ground .i have designed a ground at -3 meters where the topography will act as setting spaces and the level difference will demarket the private and public spaces for the residents

FORM EVOLUTION
The given built-up area was 1,50,000 sq.m. The site being 617 m long, faced issues like pedestrian walkability issues due to insufficient access points. I created pocket spaces for the community. The access for natural elements like sunlight and wind is the most beautiful access of every public space, for that, I played with the heights of the buildings and chunks of the built form. Keeping in mind the hierarchy of spaces, I designed the entrances in a way that they do not directly open to the large community space, instead they evolute to be a community space.

GRADE LEVEL PLAN
LONGITUDINAL SECTION
TYPICAL FLOOR PLAN
There are three types of building in the design where the first one has three core in which first core has 4 unit to it and the other two has two units to it. staircases are placed in a way that they stay at the outer side of the building for the emergency exit. Units are set in a way that they get at least 2 side open
AMENITIES FLOOR PLAN
I have designed 6th floor as amenities floor this would be a place for all indoor amenities and also the terrace garden facing the ground .there would be the bridge connecting all the blocks and bridge would act as the circulation path for the residents with the semi-private spaces at that floor in the middle part of the mass I have divided the amenities on different floor where the short building has the terraces garden on it and floors besides it acts as the amenities
HIERARCHY OF SPACES
SECTIONS
This section shows the relation between the height vs the breath were in the middle part of the mass I have played with the height to let light get in the narrow lawn and the terrace lawns which is on the short building in the middle of the two long building. whereas, short section shows the inner open spaces and the proportion of that space to its height and the inner core of the building to its circulation space

Informality has always been defined as the use of urban space for purposes it was not officially designated for – such as a footpath space for vending rather than walking or the road space for walking rather than the movement of vehicular traffic. The studio uses the understanding of informal markets as structures and systems of people i.e. spatial organization, unspoken rules, territories and temporalities. Its primary focus has been to better integrate the informal vending activities into the existing urban fabric. • Designing a system: Garbage disposal, collection and its place in the marketplace social and physical environment • Influencing the functionality of the urban space through physical and systemic changes • Modulating the spatial experience through a design intervention
SITE PLAN
EDGE CONDITIONS
On this side of the side vendors have permanents space which they can use for the entire day. Due to which they use materials like tarpaulin
Here the temple plinth and bu stand are used as a storage space for vegetables. Here as the space is less, garbage is generally thrown on road
Near the main APMC gate there are more vendors selling tea, snacks and food items as their is constant movement of vehicles who have traveled from long distance and will require refreshment
The footpath is used as space for keeping basket and other stuff. Also footpath changes from storage place to garbage accumulation point
ANALYSIS
PROCESS
FORM ANALYSIS -The vendors will be removed from the street and instead be accommodated in a manner that they are part of the APMC Building. Spillover of vendors onto the road has to be prevented in any manner possible. For this a different access to the market is given behind the building, Where legitimate parking for market-goers is used as incentive. For this purpose the shops will be removed and re-build on the under used left side of the building. Back edge of the building will be made more active so that back row of the Otla are not in neglect and utilized properly

DESIGN SECTION
-The Chowk space created by the shops and the buildings to be strictly used for social and interactive purpose (however, we are anticipating that some form of vending will be carried along the edge of the APMC building). During the early morning hours when the loading unloading activities are at its peak, the chock can become a segregating space, Space for gathering goods, for rickshaws to come in and easily load unload. There will be a ‘pit’ lining the road edge with designated entry spots from where pedestrians can entry the market

The design began with a focus on responding to a few challenges that the country faces vis-a vis the urban rural divide and migration patterns, specially considering the large parts of the country that are still outside the ‘urban’, and as a result of their organization are configured in ways that are largely unpredictable. The main intention of this competition falls under the same premise of visualizing how the rural India will evolve by 2047. As mentioned in document by the ministry of rural development, there are two guiding principles – - Diversifying livelihood - Improving well-being The design has three main buildings and a central open space creating a central gathering space for the people at a minimal cost of construction. The materials used for building these facilities are all locally based and easily available materials making it a cost effective design with basic but efficient facilities.

She is a freelancer, does exhibition of her works may be twice a year and does part time job with a textile house. To build this house, they have taken a home loan. The office space is provided in the basement and a sunken buffer has been made for the green view and sound buffer from the road they are also from a creative background so the silent and atmosphere is been created with the green buffer

In CEPT every tear there’s a cultural festival called Navratri where students initiate to proposes the installations to decorate the university. Outdoor architectural installations are a major draw for tourists as well as for locals. 1) The concept of this installation was to create an object that can have the interesting shadow composition on the wall at all the four sides of the installation so, I decided pyramid as the object to place it vertically on the wall with the illusion pattern on it. 2)The concept of this installation was to create a spotlight in the semiopen foyer of the building also the interesting shadow pattern on the walls surrounding so, I decided to make a hanging structure which can act as the spotlight to the foyer and its shadow can make space interesting

Understanding the PORTICO as a public space and assessing its evolution through Milan on the basis of its form, function, relationship to its context and its users. The Portico has been part of Milanese architecture since the city came into existence. A portico creates a perfect transition between the exterior and interior spaces of the building. This transitional space thus leads to a plethora of activities that can arise giving new meaning to urban life in a city like Milan. The design and usage of the space though has vastly changed across the years. From a very public zone at the Piazza Del Duomo to a private access spaces like the ones MKT srl and the Residential Towers by Cino Zucchi, the function of these porticoes also have evolved. We also find examples of Porticoes that once flourished as public spaces but no longer work since the functions within or the thoroughfare changed. The portico thus becomes a delicate space with its usage vastly changing by altering its parameters
