OPEN GOVERNMENT AND UKRAINE What has to be done in 2015? Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a multilateral international initiative that encompasses 65 member countries. It was officially launched on 20 September 2011 in the course of UN General Assembly session. Ukraine joined this global initiative in September 2011.

Reinforcing influence of citizens on national policy:
OGP Action Plan for 2015 – on 26 November 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the new Action Plan on implementing the OGP initiative in Ukraine. The Government and NGOs will jointly implement it.

single portal for all administrative services of the government is created
the laws provide for the tools of civic influence on shaping national policy
citizens help the justice authorities to detect and counter corruption
the most important administrative services are provided through Centres for administrative service provision
