Residing in Nature Landscape Reconstruction FOR collecting herbs, saving the people, and teaching the people ACADEMIC DESIGN STUDIO THE 8TH AI JING COMPETITION "EXCELLENT AWARD" INDIVIDUAL WORK DURATION:APRIL-JULY.2018 Location: Da Jiu Hu Nature Reserve, Shennongjia Forest Area, Hubei Province, China Tutor: Professor Yan Chou
AWARD DETIAL Jun.2018 Residing with Nature, Shennongjia,Hubei, China International Landscape Design Industry Association, China The 8th Ai Jing Competition EXCELLENT AWARD (50/1600)
EVOLUTION
All types of evolution whether in physical or spiritual way all convince the existence of language as the former condition. This design completes the landscape element translation of Shennongjia World Natural Cultural heritage, and weaves its characteristics into the practice of supporting facilities such as new tourist distribution center. Construct landscape gene continuity shared by tourists and Aboriginal people. Contradictions in the building itself: The establishment of "ancient villages" in cement towns outside nature reserves can not provide the continuity of life style for the indigenous people, or even meet the needs of daily communication. Foreign tourists are forced to stay in this hub, away from the free starry sky of the Shennong Grand Jiuhu Reserve, and stay at the Unified Express Hotel. This expansion of the new town and the displacement of the indigenous people let me feel the necessity of landscape intervention, "heredity" big Jiuhu Wild in Freedom, "genetic" mountain people grow Chinese herbal medicine and livestock equal run of the simple nature, this design explores genetic variability and landscape psychology continuity.
ENLIGHTENMENT OF TYPOLOGICAL PSYCHOLOGY: With the goal of providing a wide variety of interactions and experiences, I explored the following: 1, to create a variety of environmental characteristics of the elements, including natural, pure art, history, urban style, etc., so that participants takes what, thus expanding the audience's integration degree. 2, focusing on a certain type of environmental characteristics of the elements to deepen the participants ' single-minded cognition. 3, to provide a variety of sensory stimulation, including visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory stimulation, such as color jumping colors, the tone of strange sounds, fragrant and pleasant flowers and so on. 4, set up devices in environmental locations without fixed themes, and use human cognition of machinery to stimulate participation.

The Cigui Utopia A Letter to the Silent Majority ACADEMIC DESIGN STUDIO GRAIN RAIN CUP COMPETITION INDIVIDUAL WORK DURATION:MARCH-MAY.2017 Location: Hongmiqiu Village, Zhuliang Town, Nancheng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China Tutor: Professor Jinghua Song Individual Project
Whether a village should survive or not should be queried to local villagers. This is their right and duty. With the spirit of awe and protection, we embarked on the village’s land for data collection and mapping for twice. It is hoped that the principle of “minimization” design and “dripin design” can be explored to explore the road to green planning for villages, which can help more villages to use the principle of minimal restoration.

A LETTER TO THE SILENT MAJORITY CONTEXT DIAGRAMS
These villages do not have admirable natural scenery and abundant energy resources. Instead, they retain the traditional small-peasant economic production model and the political framework in the planned economy era. The government does not have the funds and energy to help these villages to continue their bloodline. Does this mean that they should become the demise of China's urbanization process after falling victim to success? Of course it should not be. The squire should be preserved. Whether a village should survive or not should be queried to local villagers. This is their right and duty. With the spirit of awe and protection, we embarked on the village’s land for data collection and mapping for twice. It is hoped that the principle of “minimization” design and “drip-in design” can be explored to explore the road to green planning for villages, which can help more villages to use the principle of minimal restoration.
The current situation of rural decline in China In today's China, with the rapid progress of population urbanization, a large number of villages are gradually decimating. According to statistics, 200 villages are disappearing every day. Cigui Village is one example of this.

Economic status
infrastructure
Cultural conditions
The population is only 37 people, and all of them are elderly people, and the labor force is seriously lacking. The traditional smallscale peasant economy is still maintained, with decentralized agriculture and logging as the mainstay, the economic situation is not optimistic.
The village's transportation system is still very primitive, showing a tree-like distribution, and there is basically no good public space for the villagers to interact. The water system is dominated by a small stream. There is no systematic water network and sewer design, and the use is more chaotic.
With a history of more than a thousand years, some cultural relics and historical sites have been preserved. Most of them were former residences. They suffered severe damage during the Cultural Revolution. There are few leftovers, and they are basically not used and are not well protected.
Recognizing the local economic conditions and restrictions, we believe that we should not blindly introduce a large amount of capital for the development of certain industries, but should respect the status quo of lower local productivity, carry out drip-style design, and retain each one to develop its own industry. right.
The first step in our design is to transform the original road network and water system to increase the area of the public space and the accessibility of the road network. The water system is all that is needed to surround the farmland. Supply to agriculture for minimum cost.
We have used the original important buildings to renovate, giving them new public service functions, and carrying out community renewal activities in the villages, thereby reducing the large cost of new buildings and the destruction of the local environment. Meet our minimum design principles.
The stage is the only public space in the area. It has been used as a venue for local opera performances. Its biggest feature is the fully preserved truss system of the late Qing Dynasty, as well as the height difference space, which is especially suitable for use as a gathering and public event.
The village is far from the city and the traffic is very inconvenient.
Most of the original buildings in the village are run down, and a small number of important cultural relics are preserved.
This plane originally used the method of average composition, the stage on one side and the gods and stands on the other side of the turbulent water, which fully reflected the cultural tradition of the local ancestor Jingzong, but not for modern use.
Most buildings are run down, and a small number of important relics are preserved.

Contradictions in the building itself: Outside Shanghai, there is a group of high-rise buildings rising, it is not only in the street with the texture of the formation of opposition, more profound impact on the old Shanghai People's way of life. The possibility of convenient and efficient demand for efficiency and the intermingling of a class of public space-rich living life has aroused our interest, and we have finally introduced ant colony algorithm as a path optimization method to provide a set of ecosystem schemes to integrate public space on the path and maximize the diversity of space.
THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF YPOLIGICAL PSYCHOLOGY:
This scheme emphasizes the path and boundary, and also puts forward the logical architecture of the composition of the building. The Enlightenment of topological psychology: Boundary effect is the embodiment of human being's sense of security in space activities. People often want their space to have a certain protection mechanism, but friendly landscape works strive for people to participate in it, and express feelings, in the process of participating in interaction or access to special experience, so that the whole environment can delight people's mood, with behavior to weaken the boundaries of public and private space.

FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLE OF CONSERVATIVE STRUCTURE: In any case, it does not need to consume energy to maintain such a structure, such as in the form of metabolism, which is essential for all biological phenomena.

The Random Recurrence Skyscraaper in an Old City ACADEMIC DESIGN STUDIO INDIVIDUAL PROJECT DURATION:SEPT.2017-FEB.2018 Location: Zhong Bei Road,Wuhan City Tutor: Professor Lingjiang Huang
Wuhan is an old city on the banks of the Yangtze ,the city of thousands of lakes, which is with the largest number of college students in the world, but with a very scattered population. In order to provide the design industry with more opportunities for exchange and inspirational collision, I think of the word "natural flow", which means that people flow into the building like a stream of water transferred in the veins of leaves. The mechanism of veins shows us the possibility of the maximization of accessibility. And the appearance of the building is hidden in the city like a towering mountain.
