Elemental Forest
The components of the project are broken down and separated into their basic elements. The block is broken down into the elements of community, residential, commercial and park space. The housing block is further broken down into the units, the amenities and the vertical circulation. Each of these elements then becomes separate and distinct, freeing them to be what they are needed to be to best fit their given role. The residences are originally envisioned as a double loaded bar of units that is then lifted up to give more room to the park below, a separation is the made within corridor to open up the space and provide lighting below. The amenities are added on to the end of the bar in a glass tower that rises above the tree filled park, with circulation fitted into the slots made in the corridor. Ironbound Branch Library The concept for the new Iron Bound Branch Library is for the library to become a continuation of the neighborhood. By bringing in the scale of the city into the design. This was done by subdividing the building into smaller volumes, each of them obtaining a human scale, creating more comfortable and intimate spaces for the user. The core of the library becomes an atrium that houses the stacks on its surfaces and ties the rest of the building together. This atrium also becomes the main core of the building by housing the ceremonial stairs that run around this walls made of books.
The volumes located around the main core ,house the main program. Its interstitial spaces which are spaces that connect and support the volumes become sitting areas or areas for leisure. These areas are covered by a screen that was designed to become denser at the upper floors which house the most private spaces.

Triangle Park Newark - Siena Studio This project is located at the heart of Downtown Newark, new jersey. Where there is an existing divide between neighborhoods as well as a lack of connection at the street level from major buildings. The major separation is set with existing gateways which are skywalks that connect the major buildings not allowing a footstep on the street. This creates a separation between different types of people at the area . Only certain people can walk on these bridges. The other separation between neighborhood happens at the location of the site because of presence of major highways , railroads. This part of downtown becomes hard to walk on. Triangle Park ‘s mission is to revert this condition and take advantage of what is given. it connects downtown to ironbound through a park that floats above highways, then connects major parts of ironbound and ends at the beutiful riverfront park.

TRANSVERSE SECTION
Triangle Park starts across from Prudential Center, providing a place to enjoy after and before events. Green areas slowly ramp and extend up to an abandoned railroad bridge above penn station. TOWERS programed with housing were placed on either side of the park towards the downtown side of the park. These towers are aranged to take advantage of the view to New York as well as integrating to the scale of Ironbound. As Triangle Park extends over penn station, it provides sitting, viewing decks ,and connection to restaurants , galleries and culminates at River Front park. This design offers a new way of viewing newark, connecting Down Town and Iron Bound in a different way.

U - Loop
Competition Project The Cross Pollination Framework Plan aimed to intensify the current connections amongst the University Heights District. This plan inspired the idea of connections through the use of the U-Loop: a marked exercise path that runs through existing infrastructure of the District.
The marked path runs by each campus’ student centers and athletic facilities. The path also follows perimeters of each campus where there is typically less pedestrian traffic. Exercise stations are found along the route that take advantage of existing conditions and promote a full body workout.

To foster the demand for fitness and fun exercise around the campus .A proposal to use the existing on campus conditions to ones benefit was made with the loop. U- Lopp used the existing conditions of the urban fabric to propose diffeent activities such as doing stairs for leg day, or going up slopes, stretching or just relaxing after a run over the lovely view of downtown. The loop will be marked with custom stencils onto the ground with paint. The stencils will suggest the activities to be done in these areas as well as marking the path of the loop.

U - Use
Competition Project U-se is a multi-use station on the lower green at NJIT that stays to the edge of bleeker st still allowing for the activities on the lower green to be held. This node incorporates activities such as entertainment, exercise, and advertising, selling and relaxing.
This is done through bands of program on the station. The first band houses entertainment which has a (optional) sliding stage and seating for viewing, a ramp as a second band to allow for movement through the station. The third band incorporates exercise through the station with monkey bars and rubberized seats that can be used as box jump areas, and the last band aids the to keep bleeker st clean as we provide a recycle can and a waste bin opening along bleeker st. The node is made out of a wood frame covered in strips of 2x4s, as mentioned above the areas used for exercise are covered with rubber tops and the areas used for seating are covered with red plywood.
