DRIVE BY SHOOTING BALTIMORE
The title of this book says, yet does not say, it all. My much beloved and beleaguered city of Baltimore is infamous for its high homicide and crime rates, facts President Trump has used in his city smear campaign. Driving by, with my body stretched out the car window, camera clicking in hand, I quickly capture street scenes. At times, I ride through neighborhoods I would hesitate to wander on foot and at times simply capture the quick motion of street life. The pulse of life and the connection of people provide hope; the desolate and decaying landscapes are a reminder to take action.
