We all know that a healthy lifestyle is beneficial for everyone. Making healthy choices in the life, creating a positive mental state, eating healthy food and doing regular physical activities are all very vital factors for overall well-being. When you maintain a balanced life that includes a healthy mind, body. And soul, you will find that the external events of your life have much less effect on your happiness and success in life.
person, their physical, psychological and social needs, which directly relate to their spiritual selves. . Basically, you would improve your overall well-being by integrating aspects of every part of yourself and by not just eating right and getting exercise.
HYMNS WELLNESS
Your mind needs stimulation, you need social interaction and solid relationships, and you need to nurture your spiritual side along with honoring the operation of your body’s physical aspects. When someone desires to improve their health there is always a much more long-term commitment. when they have made a whole lifestyle change rather than just deciding to try a new diet for 2 weeks. You really shouldn’t restrict foods or participate in a rigorous exercise regime for short periods of time. Although it seems to be a popular trend to try out the next new diet or be a part of the next ‘exercise craze’, it isn’t these short bursts of diet and exercise changes that provide lasting health benefits. You will be much better served by taking the time and effort to truly look at your whole self, preparing yourself mentally, and gaining lots of knowledge about healthy living, gradually adding positive habits and slowly eliminating harmful habits, and discovering ways to nurture your inner self as well. As you are looking at the areas of your life involving food and exercise, don’t leave out a vital component of a complete lifeyour spiritual health. Nurturing your mind, body and spirit is a package deal.
HOLISTIC HEALTH
You can’t connect with your true self and commit to a renewed life of health without nourishing your spiritual side. Now you will thing what is spiritual life and how to nurture it… here I say! That we are all on a journey in this life to do great things. These great things are big and small and can have an effect on millions of people or just one person. It is a lifelong quest to figure out what your life purpose is. Discovering what rally motivates you and gives you the energy to be always growing is a part of your spiritual path. It doesn’t matter what religion you follow or where your beliefs lie, there are certain elements to FOCUS on to find your place and discover what significance your life plays in the world around you.
Your inner growth is the most important growth in your life, not only because it is what forms your perspective (which gives you a positive or negative take on your surroundings), but also because it is how you will discover what you were created for. There is nothing more peaceful than knowing that you are living your life the way you were designed to. The five areas you need to focus on to live a life of purpose and meaningful.
TOOLS AND FACTS 1. Have faith in your personal power: This can be related to one’s faith in a specific religion, but faith is not limited to religion. Believe that you have been given special qualities and that there is a universal source that connects one to all. Believe that you are capable of doing great and satisfying things and that you will get through all those ups and downs in life. The most important things have to be believed to be seen. 2. Have patience in your wait for the right things at the right time: Patience is a virtue and not easily come by, which makes for lots of opportunities to grow in this area. We want things right when we thing of them. Instant gratification is mainstream in society and it seems that it should be that way in our spiritual life too, but unfortunately we are not here to make the rules, we are here to discover “The Good Life. 3. Generate love continuously about everything: To love under any circumstances really is the greatest achievement of all and it is really not that hard, once you have few years of practice under you belt. Love does make the world work right and feeling love in difficult situations will make your inner world a much happier place, love for yourself and other.
4. Develop a prayer practice: Don’t worry about all those rules out there about how to pray. You just need to have the intention to connect with your creator and be aware of what you are thankful for, what you did like in your life and what you did like for others. Say it out loud, think it, or even write it down in your very own prayer journal. Just put it out in the universe and be in comfort that you have been heard. 5. Be aware of creation: Nature is all around us, providing, nurturing, and sharing. Take time to spend quiet moments in natural surroundings and be aware of how perfectly nature lives. You will soon strengthen your faith in the gifts and abilities that have been given to you live a truly blessed life.

ROADTRIPS OF THE YEAR
PR Specilalist Chanette Sparks
Welcome to 2017!!! It’s a new year and a new you, so let’s make it count!!! A new year is always an exciting time for most people. It’s a wonderful time to celebrate “all things new”, such as new beginnings, new memories, new habits and most importantly, new goals. Although we can introduce “newness” on any given day of the year, the 1st of the year is just one of those days where we can mentally start fresh. It’s almost as if we feel it’s a time to start all over again, and for some, planning the new year happens months in advance for preparation of the new achievements. However, the problem with creating new year resolutions is that most people either quit, fail or simply forget about what they had hoped to achieve prior to the Spring season... sometimes earlier.
The intentions of resolutions are always good, but to make your resolutions truly count (and last), it’s important that you understand that resolutions themselves are not goals. They are simply decisions to start or stop something that you’re currently doing or not doing, and if you want to make serious changes, you’re going to have to make sure that you are thinking of resolutions that come with goals attached. They’re not going to stick any other way. Even with resolutions, establishing goals are the key to successfully fulfilling your future hopes and promises. Your goals are going to act as a road map to show you how to get to where you plan to be in your life.
Write them Down- As tedious as this might sound, it’s an important step towards reaching your goals. Write the vision, and place it in a location that you’ll often be throughout the day. I started off by writing my resolutions on colorful sticky notes and placing them on my bathroom mirror, refrigerator and sometimes in my car on my dash board. Constantly seeing the notes helped me to store them in my memory and stay consistent. Create a vision board- Here, you may purchase any size poster board that you’d like to achieve a visual of your goals. What I’ve enjoyed most about vision boards are that they are personal and reflect your inner desires. Grab a few magazines and glue or tape pictures of what you hope to achieve now, and in the future. Being that I’m also a business owner, I created a board for my personal life, as well as my professional life. I have a decent size walk in closet, so I framed my boards and placed them on my closet walls. I would go inside, sit, and reflect each morning before starting my day. Achievement Date- The date of when you plan to have achieved your goal is one of the most important steps, just as any other goal in your life. Pick a realistic date and write it down somewhere memorable.
I’d suggest having an achievement journal near your bedside or somewhere in your home where you have moments of peace and quiet. In your journal, write the current date, the date you wish to achieve your goal and write down a detailed review of how you plan to achieve it. Once you’ve reached your goal, write “complete” or “fulfilled”. If for any reason, you don’t complete the goal, create a new date and repeat the process. Quarterly Review- Just as in business, quarterly reviews are a necessity towards determining where you are now and where you intend to be in the future. If you think of your life in this same manner, you’ll be able to successfully implement strategies that set you up for long-term success with your resolutions. For example, let’s say that you’ve decided you want to lose weight and get in shape in 2017. First, write it down in your journal. Next, you’re going to create a strategy of how you plan to complete this task. You may say to yourself, “I’m going to walk daily for 30minutes, lift weights on Mondays and better proportion my meals for the first 3-months.” Once you’ve done this, make notes to yourself and place them around your house. Put a few pictures on your vision board to see it clearly on a day-to-day basis, and write an achievement date. Mark your calendar to review your strategy in April 2017, July 2017 and again in October 2017.

These are just a few strategies that I’ve used to stay on track with my past new year resolutions and they have always worked for me personally. Would find myself months later still excitedly saying, “It’s a new year, new me!” I’m a firm believer that planning is the ultimate way to get on track and stay there in all areas of our lives. We all experience challenges along the way, that’s life. However, if you start to invest in you and plan your way to success, you’ll notice that even yearly resolutions make sense with a little planning and strategy. 5 Things Every (Female) Entrepreneur Should Know Today! Yes, okay male entrepreneurs, I’m not getting my period, simma down. I know that there’s advice here you can use, and trust me, I coach plenty of men, and my dating history testifies to my love of men, but it’s rare that I have to remind male entrepreneurs that their ideas are good, and deserving of all the work...whereas a woman can have a plan to cure cancer and she’ll still be thinking, “Oh, I don’t know, does anyone care what I have to say?” *sighs* Let’s hope that the next generation of women are raised to think better of themselves, and lose our hang-ups, fear and bullshit. If that’s not good enough, I’ll tell you what I told my mom from age 3 on: “You’re not the boss of me.” This is my #WomanCrushWednesday special. #yourewelcomeAmerica *
Once we give up searching for approval, we often find it easier to earn respect.” Gloria Steinem. I’m passionate about being an entrepreneur, since it saved my life. End of story. It made me the woman I am today, and even more important, it made me believe that this (sexy) woman was worth the hard work and hard choices necessary to bring her into existence. I became an adult. “
I fought for my values, and the life I wanted to lead. But it took me 8 brutal years of poverty, grief, frustration, and other good stuff. I gained a great deal, and I lost a great deal. So nowadays, when I coach women who have great (small) business ideas, and they feel compelled to tell me all the things they hate about themselves, our world, and why their ideas will never work...*rage rising.* We don’t have a ton of time on this planet, and depending on how November 8, 2016, turns out, we might have significantly less. Is this how you want to spend your life, all you wanna-be entrepreneurs?Articulating excuses and making out with your shame and regrets. That sounds fairly barftastic, but what do I know? #eyeroll
To that end, whether you’ve got a brilliant idea, or just a nagging feeling that you should be working alone at your desk at 3:00 am, in dirty sweatpants an entrepreneur, I shall now attempt to give you the wisdom of my many mistakes. When you’re a titan of industry, feel free to invite me to serve on your board of directors at an extremely generous salary.
It s amazing how many things you can do, when you’re just pretending.” Kim Gordon

1. Your business is whatever you want it to be. As children, why did we play make believe or have imaginary friends? I was an only child —some of you are now seeing another piece of the puzzle fall into place—so I enjoyed having more people to boss around, but in general, we played to try out different roles. To see how they fit and how they felt. If you have a business idea, it’s only as good as how much you believe in it. Imagination, boys and girls! Whether you bake and sell cookies every other Saturday, or create a tech empire spanning the seven seas, you’re in business, bitch, get to work! So if you waste years deciding that you only want to work with people in your local community, and oh my god it’s so expensive to become an LLC, and how does one rent an office, and don’t you need a broker, and taxes, shit, taxes, and how will you compete and suddenly, it’s another weekend you’ve spent binge-watching old episodes of Gilmore Girls because you were so overwhelmed...whoa, now. How about you just start doing what you love with what you have? How about you spend all that energy believing in yourself instead of tearing yourself down?

Did Henry Ford wait till the US Government started constructing our national system of highways to invent the first car, or did he simply do what interested him? You have a business idea, big or small, okay, so why don’t you write out a list of what you think you need to get started and, wait for it, GET STARTED?
Today. Right now. There’s so much you don’t know, so much you couldn’t know and such is life. Are you new here? This is how small business works. You use the ideas, experience, education and opportunities you currently have to build what (you think) you need. You make your mistakes, cry them out in the shower, have your private temper tantrums, whine prodigiously, drink heavily, feel sorry for yourself, have small victories which become larger and rinse and repeat. Get started today, Missy, I’m not even kidding. “You try to criticize my drive/if I lose I don’t feel paralyzed…And if I fall/I get up again now/I get up again/over and over!” Over And Over, Madonna 2. You will make many mistakes. So what. Surely I’m not the only person who realizes that women are still made to feel bad for making mistakes. Not just bad but inadequate. Less than human. Disgusting. I’m a former anorexic, so I have a true rage for perfectionism, and how it wastes our time. Conversely, I sport a ginormous hard-on for making mistakes. I made a successful career for myself in network news in Russia and the US, by my inability to feel fear. When things didn’t go great, I shrugged it off, when they did, I smirked. (I was fun.). When I eventually began this “business,” after years of shit and a bad marriage, I was broke, depressed and trapped by my fear of failure.
Then, a thought occurred: “I’m living in Queens. I am broke. What could I have left to fear?” I’m leaving out all the snarling profanity, but you get the picture. I kicked my own ass. Because if you, my friend, are sitting at home, or worse, at some shitty job, with a great biz idea that you’ve spent years talking yourself out of...wow. Well at least you won’t make any mistakes, right? I mean, you know besides the totally minor, insignificant mistake of wasting your own valuable life. (You do know it’s valuable, right? #Askingforafriend) Besides that minor little detail, stay golden, Ponyboy! When your asshole boss tells another racist joke, hey I’m glad you took the safe route, that seems to be working out super well for you. Glad your sons and daughters will grow up with your example of making excuses, even as they themselves are relentlessly pressured to be #fearless. That’s clearly a winning combination. Their future therapists and pharmacists are already mentally shopping for prime beach properties, and initializing prenups.
Yes, I’m being a bitch and a half, but newsflash THIS IS YOUR LIFE! These are your ideas! What are you waiting for? What could be possibly be more important, those two weeks a year in Thailand? You’re right, I didn’t have a vacation for 8 years. Then again, I spent those years creating a life I don’t need to run from. And I still make mistakes. And so what.

Build a good name. Keep your name clean. Don’t make compromises, don’t worry about making a bunch of money or being successful. Be concerned about doing good work.” Patti Smith “
3. Take your work seriously. Recently, visiting one of the (male) artists I coach, I made a comment about his beautiful studio space. It’s pricey, but the rent he pays forces him to work harder to make more art, so he can sell the art, so he can pay the rent, so he has a place to make the art that moves his soul. I made a comment about that circle of life and he said, “Well yeah...I can’t work out of the damn kitchen!” I only mention this because you, Dear Reader, might be surprised—if you don’t have a vagina—by how many women have come to me with great ideas, and when I suggest making space, physically and emotionally, for their ideas to flourish, they look at me like I have three heads. Or, the woman who told me that she didn’t feel she could, “in good conscience,” rent an office until her business was a success. When I suggested that this was an excellent way to ensure that her business never became a success, and thus she’d never have to master her fear of renting the office and officially being in business...her face went blank. It was like yelling at my cats, except her face was expressionless, and my cats get righteously angry when The Help dares to talk back.
As an entrepreneur your work replies on you, every single goddamn day, creating the opportunities your ambition requires. Every. Damn. Day. Thus, ladies, if you decide that you can only succeed when you’re sure you can succeed...lol, this is why men find women adorable. They don’t have to treat us like shit, we do the heavy lifting for them! #welltrained.

They don’t have to treat us like shit, we do the heavy lifting for them! #welltrained. Take your work seriously. Take your contribution to our planet seriously, and thus allow it to thrive and build and grow. If you’re only going to work at the kitchen table, late Sundays, after all the dishes are done, and hubby has enjoyed another perfectly made home-made, home-grown, gluten-free meal...I’m guessing your keynote address to BlogHer’20 is probably going to go by the wayside? Just thinking out-loud. In (small) business, as in life, YOU GET BACK WHAT YOU GIVE. If you have an idea, commit to that idea, and crucially, to the (frightening) belief that your idea is worthy of commitment. Maybe it won’t end up being good. Maybe it’ll lead you to something better. (You know how many entrepreneurs start countless businesses that fail, before one pans out??). Maybe you’ll make bank, how can we possibly know? Either way, nothing will happen if you decide that until everything in your life is perfect, you can only spend 15 minutes every third Tuesday researching it. I started my business out of my apartment. Now I have a lovely office. Now I coach people in Paris. But I didn’t get those clients in Europe by waiting for someone else to give my business approval.
Who else was there? My parents worried I was crazy. My friends knew better: they knew I was insane. I allowed my business to take over my life, to take the oxygen it needed to grow and thrive. Today, 8+ years later, there’s things I can do, that back then would have seemed impossible. But maybe that means I’m truly an entrepreneur, and impossible is just another interesting challenge. “Deal with yourself as an individual worthy of respect and make everyone else deal with you the same way.” Nikki Giovanni 4. Use what you have to build what you need. I cannot stress this enough. Unable to write a business plan? Yeah, join the club. (Have you considered that women are traditionally not raised to be financially literate, or independent.) I spent two years getting sick to my stomach about my inability to build a business plan...and yet somehow, I WAS IN BUSINESS. I had clients. *laughs merrily* Now I can write a plan in about two hours, or even better, I can direct you to some excellent websites that have spreadsheets to download, and videos to watch. You can, like a woman decide that your inability means you’re not ready, or like a man, decide that it means you’ll figure it out as you go, and then you’ll hire someone else to deal with that crap. (That is a gross generalization and I don’t care. You’re not the boss of me.) Join your college and grad school alumni organizations, and find out what resources they have for female and/or minority entrepreneurs, like mentoring, incubators, loans and the like.
Paw through your LinkedIn and Facebook connections for entrepreneurs to take out for coffee—entrepreneurs are lonely people, lure them out into the bright sunshine, and give them a reason to comb their hair, and put on pants—and ask them what they wish they had known. Volunteer. Educate yourself. Network ravenously. Join your local Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and other groups. You don’t know everything, and hello, did you somehow think you ever would?? Really? Where are you from? *shifty eyes* I wasted so much time feeling because I couldn’t write a goddamn business plan, but meanwhile the schumck who told me I had to, did not simultaneously feel compelled to help me. Nope. He just enjoyed my misery. (Don’t worry, sports fans, we’ve had our come-to-Jesus, and that short punk knows exactly what I think of him...and his tears were delicious. Salty, but delicious.) Meanwhile, as I was feeling like a damn failure, one of my clients said to me, “Carlota, thank god you started this business, you’re great!” Huh! You don’t say...#Notetoself Forgive yourself for not being perfect, you’re something much better: you’re human. Get to work. Unless you’re willing to look a little foolish, forget the possibility of becoming great.” Cher 5. What are you waiting for.
