I've always had a strong interest in the arts. My parents still tell stories of finding me in a corner somewhere, drawing on whatever type of paper I could find. My dad, an engineer peaked my interest in computers at a very early age and my mom, an instinctive crafts person and an amazing talent with fabric gave me a foundation like no other. In school I accelerated in art classes but wasn't aware of design as a career until I attended the local vo-tech for Commercial Art while in high school. I wasn't the best student in the class due to a rebellious attitude, but thanks to a great teacher who saw potential – I became a great designer. From there I went on to Kutztown University and studied Communication Design where I concentrated in Graphic Design and Advertising Design and my fate was sealed. And thank you to that teacher who believed in me, I ran into him when freelancing at the Philadelphia Museum of Art where he proclaimed "I always knew you'd make something of yourself."
