Welcome Cattlemen and Friends, I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking time out of your busy schedule to look through our sale offering. This year’s 8th Annual Elite Female Sale is the largest offering we have ever offered since I decided to completely disperse my spring calving cow-herd including all the spring bred heifers. I have held nothing back out of the spring calving division so you are getting to pick from a set a cows I have been assembling and creating to produce high end show cattle. The decision to disperse was based simply on the fact that we welcomed our third child into this world this past October I just don’t have the time to do all the things I am doing. We run several fall calving cows and trade several shows steers each year so it leaves me no time to spend time with my family as we are calving, breeding and traveling the country side either buying cattle or going to cattle shows all year round. This set of cows I am selling is something that I have worked diligently at building and I believe it is a set of cows without question that will flat out get the job done. The unique thing about this set of cows as most of the females selling are only 3 years of age getting ready to have their 4th birthday this spring. They are bred to have highly marketable offspring as I bred them that way. I think when you see the cows you will see they are really attractive, stout, big middled, and sound functional females. The open heifer division is as stout as ever as it should be from year to year as we always strive to offer better cattle each year. One unique thing about this set of open heifers is that not only will they show but will be tremendous cows. As you read through the footnotes you will see several of the heifers selling so are their dams . If you have any questions about the offering feel free to contact myself, Dustin Layton or anyone on the sale staff as we would be more than happy to answer any of you questions. We have changed our sale time to 3 p.m. so make note as we are selling more females. Please join us on Thursday evening December 13, for the pre-sale social held here at the ranch as we will have good food and refreshments, and on Friday December 14 at 3 p.m., for the 8th Annual Elite Female Sale Complete Dispersion of the Spring Calving females. Thank you in advance for your interest in our program and for your attendance to the Elite Female Sale. Safe Travels, Bryan McKay

Friday, December 14th, 2012 3 PM - 8th Annual Elite Female Sale

Welcome to the 8th Annual Female Sale & Spring Calving Dispersion, It is always a pleasure to work for Bryan and his family on their annual Elite Female Sale. This sale I know has mixed emotions for him as he is selling his entire spring calving division and it is something that he has worked extremely hard at building, but in order to spend time with his family and still do all the things he does something had to give. One thing I have always admired Bryan is his true love and passion for cattle and the cattle business. It is something he lives and breathes 24/7 365 days a year. The offering flat out blew me away when I went to the ranch to first appraise the offering and when you come to appraise them I believe you will think the same. Whether you are in the market for a proven donor, young potential donors, elite show heifers with donor potential they are all here. Pay close attention to the age of the females in this dispersal as most of the females are very young and have their whole productive life in front of them. The open heifers are as stout of set as he has ever offered with many breeds represented, Maine, Hereford, Angus, Shorthorn and Chi. I hope many of you get the chance to come and appraise the offering as it is truly something to see. Bryan and his crew work extremely hard day in and day out and I want to personally thank each one of them for making my job easy as they do all the real work On behalf of Bryan and his family, his crew and myself we want to invite you to the ranch on December 13, for the pre-sale food and refreshment and for the sale on December 14 at 3 p.m.. It will be an event like no other in the club calf industry! Happy Holiday, Dustin Layton
