Our kitchen, and specifically the island, serves as a central hub and gathering place for our family each morning and evening. We have enjoyed watching numerous memorable sporting events in the entertainment room downstairs from the Panthers run to the Super Bowl in 2015, UNC’s national championship in 2017 and countless other events with friends. As much as we love the inside, our outdoor living space is truly where we spend most of our time throughout the year. In the fall and spring, we enjoy the fire pit with smore’s and football/March Madness on tv outside. We often see deer across the fence as well. On cool summer nights we can often be found watching the Braves outside on the patio with the outdoor fans. The covered front porch is also a great place to connect with the neighbors. Our home’s location is one of the primary elements that makes it so hard to leave. It’s a quick walk to some of the best shopping, restaurants, and breweries Charlotte has to offer. Walking to Pops in the Park is always fun as well. Finally, it’s an easy drive over to Park Road shopping center and Park Road Park (perhaps the most underrated park in Charlotte).
