Drawings, Paintings and an Urban Installation

Themed Railroad Park School project

This park was thought of with a speciď€ c site in mind: a peripheral part of Bucharest that has an approximate surface of 18 ha of abandoned railways, and old train cars. It's the ideal place for the C.F.R. Museum to be in. (at the present it's located near the city center, by the train station "Gara de Nord", without much space for train exhibitions.)

Themed Railroad Park School project

The park was designed on the old greened railways, with old train cars converted in housing units, trade and commerce points (including restaurants) and, for the detailed part of the landscaping, expo-cars and refreshment cars. Also, i thought that old, vintage locomotives would go nicely with this active and cultural part of the park. This side is designed for exposition spaces, workshops and model building activities.

The design was also inspired a bit by New York's "Highline" project, from where i borrowed the urban furniture. (this type of furniture is best suited, in my opinion, for this project, or any railway conversion project).

Urban Agricultural Park- City Pantry School project

For the urban park project i decided on a agricultural park, with the concept "URBAN PANTRY". We had a large enough site for this kind of idea to work (aprox. 500 ha) and I wanted to design something that would beneď€ t the entire city. I visioned the capital as a large household without a key component: the pantry.

The park was divided in 6 main areas: Area 1, with equitation, biking, planting activities, trade etc.; Area 2, with planting, research and agricultural activities; Area 3, with planting, reaserch and orchard related activities; Area 4, with shing and camping activities; Area 5, with a large beekeeping zone and lots of eld owers; Area 6, with a petting zoo. By having such a large surface, the park can be covered several ways: -by bike, by tractors, by a cable car, by horseback or wagon; The park ca also be reached by train or ferryboat.

Outlook Garden School project

DESIGNED OUT OF THE LANDSCAPE From the idea of different perspective views, or rather the different lookout points that the site offers, the solution for this garden was a design that can offer individuals the best possible experience at this kind of height (1500 m). These different lookout points are stressed by various wooden platforms, each destined to have a different activity (for example one of these platforms is also a climbing wall, on another you can observe cosmological phenomena with a telescope)
