Junyi Liu is a New York City based visual artist. She was born in Guangdong, China in 1995. Painting has been her passion since a young age. She came to the U.S. for art education first at University of Illinois at Springfield, and then received her BFA in painting at Maryland Institute College of Art. Junyi's works were published by Southwest Art Magazine, PoetsArtists, Salann Magazine and Scene & Heard Journal. Her works have been exhibited in Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art (WI), Attleboro Arts Museum (MA), Manifest Gallery (OH), Abend Gallery (CO), Salmagundi Club (NY), Dacia Gallery, Viridian Artists Inc., Barrett Art Center, Site: Brooklyn, Cartavetra Gallery (Italy), Palazzo dei Cartelloni Gallery, Peabody Institute (MD), Maryland Art Place, and elsewhere. Junyi is a grantee of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. She is also a member of Salmagundi Club, Portrait Society of America, and Art Students League of NY.
