editorial Oggi diamo il via alla nostra Avventura

Con la “Issue Number One” del nostro magazine comincia il viaggio nel mondo Marco Nils. Un viaggio fatto di tante piccole tessere che nel tempo vorremmo andassero a disegnare senza incertezze la nostra storia.

Sarà un percorso impervio, lo sappiamo, ma abbiamo grinta e voglia da vendere e siamo certi che questo è lo spirito giusto per raggiungere i nostri obiettivi.

Ma cos’è oggi Marco Nils? È un universo variegato, in cui storie, sapori, atmosfere, si mescolano e si confrontano.

Ma è soprattutto una realtà fatta di persone; uomini e donne che quotidianamente con il proprio lavoro ci dedicano tempo prezioso che noi trasformiamo in un prodotto, uno stile di vita.

In questa nostra prima uscita abbiamo il piacere di presentarvi la collezione Spring/Summer 2013. Una selezione di capi che trasferisce corpo e cuore verso terre lontane e misteriose, dove il passato è parte integrante di un presente a volte troppo ingombrante. Di quel passato e di questo presente abbiamo scelto di rappresentare il meglio. Vi sentirete avvolti dai caldi colori di quei luoghi in cui l’energia del sole va a sfocare la sottile linea dell’orizzonte; dagli angoli in cui i toni diventano tenui, con i freddi colori del grigio, azzurro e blu, in tutte le sue cromie, che rendono l’atmosfera ancor più intrigante e misteriosa. Capi morbidi, destrutturati, perfetti sia per il giorno che per la notte, attenti al dettaglio che sbuca fuori dal collo o dalla manica della camicia, o che da sfogo del suo essere su tutta la superficie a disposizione.

E le nostre proposte di stile si legano alla realtà che ci circonda attraverso notizie e curiosità che potrete scoprire iniziando a sfogliare il Marco Nils Journal.

With the “Number One Issue” of our magazine begins the journey into the world of Marco Nils. A journey made of many small pieces that over time we would like them to be part of our history without any hesitations.

It will be a steep path, we know that, but we are determined and have a strong desire to sell and we are confident that this is the right spirit to achieve our goals.

But what is Marco Nils today? It is a varied universe in which stories, flavors, moods get mixed and compared. But most of all it is a reality made of people, men and women who daily dedicate with their work precious time that we turn into a product, a way of life.

In our first issue we are pleased to present you the Spring / Summer 2013 collection. A selection of items that transfers body and heart to distant and mysterious lands, where the past is an integral part of a present often too cumbersome. From that past and present we have chosen to represent the best of it. You will be surrounded by the warm colors of those places where the energy of the sun is fading the thin line of the horizon, from the corners where the tones become muted, with the cold colors of grey and blue, and all their variants, making the atmosphere even more intriguing and mysterious. Soft items, unstructured, perfect for both day and night use, attentive to details shown on collars and sleeves of the shirts, or shown on the whole item.

And our fashion suggestions are connected to the reality that surrounds us through news and information that can be discovered by flipping through the Marco Nils Journal.

Bread&Butter Dal 15 al 17 gennaio 2013 il nostro Headquarters è stato l’Airport Berlin – Tempelhof, tempio indiscusso di urban e street style, nell’ambito della più importante fiera che si abbia in Europa, la Bread&Butter.

Marco Nils è approdato in terra tedesca facendo suo il claim che ha caratterizzato questa edizione della fiera berlinese: “Big Time: For the bold and brave brands”.

Si, perché siamo un brand coraggioso ed ardito, e la collezione Fall/Winter 2013 che abbiamo presentato nella tre giorni ha mostrato, orgogliosa, le sue origini, rigorosamente italiane.

Blazer morbidi ed eleganti, dal gusto sartoriale che ritornano convinti alla tradizione con la predominanza di colori classici come il grigio ed il blu, ma che trovano sulla propria strada tocchi di colori vibranti, geometrie e dettagli grintosi su collo e tasche. Giacche e cappotti destrutturati dall’anima light and dark, in panno di lana con lavorazione taglio vivo, vero best seller della collezione, e ancora la maglieria, in lana, che intinge la sua anima nei caldi toni del deserto. Il suo ritorno sulle scene, in “007- SKY FALL”, ha fatto da apripista ad un anno, il 2013, che si è aperto all’insegna dei festeggiamenti…e che festeggiamenti: quelli dei suo primi 100 anni. Parliamo di lei, la più famosa, desiderata, auto sportiva: l’Aston Martin. La festa per il centenario è iniziata a Dubai, al Burj Al Arab hotel, dove un’Aston Martin Vanquish è stata trasportata sull’eliporto in cima all’iconico edificio a forma di vela. Da qui si è dato il via ad una speciale esibizione di paracadutisti sulle acque blu del Golfo Persico alla presenza di alcuni dei più importanti dignitari della regione. Nel calendario delle celebrazioni della britannica anche un rally che toccherà sei paesi in sei giorni, Italia compresa. Nata nel 1913, cento anni fa appunto, da due amici, Bamford & Martin, questi festeggiamenti saranno anche l’occasione per presentare l’ultimo modello di GT, la spettacolare Vanquish, e la senza tempo DB9. La nuova Gran Turismo di lusso prenderà il posto, al top della gamma del marchio, della Aston Martin DBS. Modificata per il 75%, continua ad essere spinta da un poderoso motore V12, rivisitato e con potenza accresciuta: eroga, infatti, ben 573 CV di potenza massima e 620 Nm di coppia motrice. Ad esso è affiancato un cambio automatico a sei rapporti, con svariati programmi di guida. A livello prestazionale, la nuova Vanquish si conferma come una delle auto più performanti in circolazione, con uno 0-100 km/h archiviato in 4,1 secondi ed una velocità massima di 295 km/h. La Vanquish misura 4.720 mm in lunghezza, 2.067 mm in larghezza, 1.294 mm in altezza. Forte di linee stilistiche innovative, con i suoi 1,739 kg è più snella di 55 kg rispetto alla DBS ed ha una rigidità torsionale incrementata del 25%. Molto contenuto anche il peso, grazie all’impiego di fibra di carbonio per gran parte della carrozzeria. La nuova coupè vede così migliorate, oltre alle prestazioni, anche la maneggevolezza e la manovrabilità in curva. Il prezzo per fare proprio questo gioiello?

Prima ambasciatrice della maison francese Chanel, oggi testimonial della nuova fragranza Premiére di Gucci, e ancora musa ispiratrice di Louboutin che ha realizzato il modello “The Blake” in suo onore. La rivista maschile AskMen l’ha eletta “donna più desiderata del mondo”, mentre il Time l’ha inserita tra le 100 persone più influenti al mondo nella sua lista “Time 100”. Ma a Blake Lively tutto ciò non basta. Prima tappa: Il Cairo Accarezzato dal caldo vento del deserto, comincia il mio viaggio lungo il fiume degli Dei… mi sento come un giovane viaggiatore di inizio ‘900, pronto a lasciarmi rapire dal lento scorrere della vita sul fiume.

La mia prima tappa è Il Cairo. Mi perdo tra i suoi mille minareti; questa è una metropoli in cui non ci si può sentire mai soli. Giunto nella necropoli di Giza, i miei occhi sono subito rapiti dalla bellezza della Piramide di Cheope. Percorro veloce la strada che mi condurrà verso l’unica delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico ancora esistente e sono eccitato dall’idea che le mie mani toccheranno un pezzo di storia.

Caressed by the warm desert wind, my journey began down the river of the Gods ... I feel like a young traveler of the 1900’s, ready to let myself go by the slow flow of life on the river.My first stop is Cairo. I lose myself in its thousand minarets, this is a city where you can never feel lonely.

Reaching the Giza necropolis, my eyes are immediately overwhelmed by the beauty of the Pyramid of Cheops. I walk fast along the road that will lead me to the only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world still in existence and I am overwhelmed by the idea that my hands will touch a piece of history.

Seconda tappa: LUXOR Con la mente ancora rivolta alla magia che mi si è profilata innanzi, decido di noleggiare una jeep per raggiungere Luxor, la città situata dove sorgeva l’antica città di Tebe, capitale dell’Egitto al tempo del Medio Regno. Il viaggio è lungo, e non vedo l’ora di ritrovarmi in questa città, curiosa combinazione di splendore antico e provincialismo moderno.

Una volta a Luxor non posso trattenermi dal percorrere il suo più suggestivo viale, la Corniche. Qui mi sento parte integrante della sua vivacità.

With my mind still thinking of the charm that I was outlined before, I decided to rent a jeep to reach Luxor, the town situated on the site of the ancient city of Thebes, capital of Egypt in the Middle Kingdom time. The journey is long, and I am looking forward to get to this city, a curious combination of ancient charm and modern provincialism.

Once in Luxor I can not refrain from strolling along the most charming boulevard, the Corniche. Here I feel an essential part of its liveliness.

Terza tappa: ESNA Dopo aver percorso l’incantevole tratta lungo il Nilo, godendo dello spettacolo del sole che si inabissa a ovest dietro le colline di Tebe, sono giunto ad Esna, un villaggio agricolo situato sulla sponda occidentale del fiume, appena a sud di un’interessante diga costruita nel 1906. Qui mi trasformo, e come un guerriero mi dirigo ad esplorare il tempio di Khnum, sepolto in un’enorme fossa, profonda 10 metri sotto il livello della strada principale, nel pieno centro della città.

After going along the beautiful path beside the Nile, enjoying the sight of the sun that sinks behind the hills to the west of Thebes, I reached Esna, a farming village located on the western shore of the river, just south of an interesting dam built in 1906. Here I turn into a warrior and I walk to explore the Temple of Khnum, buried in an enormous pit 10 meters deep below the level of the main road in the center of the city.

Quarta tappa: EDFU Lasciata alle spalle Esna, e dopo 50 minuti di viaggio a bordo di un autobus, approdo ad Edfu, la sentinella della porta di Elefantina. Questo è un piccolo e polveroso paesino dedito alla produzione della canna da zucchero, costruito su un minuscolo rilievo sulla sponda sinistra del Nilo. Ed è proprio in questo punto che la valle del fiume si apre nella sua massima larghezza di 100 km. Lo spettacolo è indescrivibile, vorrei foste qui con me.

Ultima tappa: ASSUAN Mi rimetto in viaggio, ormai la mia avventura è giunta al capolinea, non prima però di fare un giro su una tradizionale “Feluca” in legno che mi porterà alla scoperta di Assuan, la città più affascinante del Nilo, dove le acque del fiume incontrano il deserto formando piccole idilliche isole. Questa è una delle zone più secche al mondo, ed è il luogo ideale per conoscere da vicino la storia epica di un paese lontano dal caos del Cairo.

MORE THAN FLIP FLOPS Nell’immaginario collettivo sono sinonimo di estate, vacanze, sole, mare e clima rilassato e, in effetti, le havaianas, che in portoghese significa hawaiani, sono proprio simbolo di allegria e spensieratezza, come la vita che si può assaporare nelle isole dell’arcipelago dell’oceano Pacifico, o lungo le spiagge carioca, terra che le ha viste nascere dalla mente creativa dell’azienda brasiliana Sao Paulo Alpargatas. Ispirata alle Zori, le tipiche ciabattine giapponesi di stoffa nera con la suola di canna della pianta del riso, tutte le havaianas riproducono la grana di riso sulla suola, una caratteristica che le rende uniche ed inimitabili. Dal 1962 ad oggi, queste infradito, inizialmente le sole che potessero permettersi gli abitanti delle favelas, hanno macinato chilometri e chilometri imponendosi sul mercato mondiale che l’ha trasformate in un vero e proprio oggetto di culto, un must-have di cui assolutamente oggi non si può far a meno per essere alla moda sulle spiagge più esclusive del globo. “The app on top of the world” Ha letteralmente contagiato il web. Con decine di milioni di giocatori in 128 Paesi, nel mondo è già Ruzzlemania. Una corsa lanciata a gran velocità, quella di questa app ideata dalla società svedese MAG Interactive.

Tutto è cominciato in Lousiana dove, nel solo mese di dicembre, un numero impressionante di utenti ha scaricato Ruzzle, mettendo in moto un meccanismo fortissimo che, in un fazzoletto di tempo, ha fatto dimenticare il misero milione di download che il gioco aveva totalizzato in Apple Store quando si chiamava ancora Rubble.

Ma cos’è Ruzzle? e come si gioca?

Ruzzle è uno “smartgame” che si ispira ai già noti Boggle e Scrabble. Il gioco è basato su un sistema di sfide online. Per dare il via ad una partita il giocatore dovrà trovare un avversario che potrà essere scelto casualmente dal sistema fra gli utenti online, o da una lista di amici impostata dal giocatore, o ancora scelto fra gli amici di Facebook. Ciascuna partita è divisa in tre manche e il punteggio finale è dato dalla somma dei punteggi ottenuti nelle singole manche. In ciascuna di esse il giocatore ha due minuti a disposizione per formare il maggior numero di parole di senso compiuto con le sedici lettere a disposizione sullo schermo. Pronomi, aggettivi, verbi, addirittura articoli, a Ruzzle è concesso tutto tranne i nomi propri e quelli di città. Chi ottiene il punteggio più alto, dato dalla somma delle tre manche, sarà decretato vincitore. Il gioco è distribuito in due versioni: “Ruzzle” e “Ruzzle Free”. La versione free, a differenza di quella a pagamento, non offre nè la possibilità di allenarsi, nè le statistiche e contiene pubblicità. Sul web si sprecano già consigli su come diventare “Re” dell’app, come ad esempio quello di utilizzare le lettere bonus che moltiplicano il punteggio, ovvero quelle contornate di blu, verde, arancione o rosso, ma non mancano le critiche. La recensione negativa con più like? quella che il gioco non accetti parole - definite “banali” dagli utenti – tipo divano e al contrario consenta parole inesistenti.

La sedia “auto-progettata”

LOUIS GHOST All’anagrafe è solo una sedia, ma il suo successo ha contribuito a lanciare il suo progettista nell’Olimpo delle Archistar. Philippe Starck, sessantaquattrenne architetto e designer francese ringrazia la sua Louis Ghost, e lei, che sulla torta ha spento ben 10 candeline, in questi anni lo ha più che ricompensato con gli oltre 1,5 milioni di esemplari venduti. Prodotta dalla Kartell, azienda italiana specializzata nella produzione di oggetti in plastica, nel 2002 è diventata un best seller assoluto. La Louis Ghost è, a detta dello stesso designer, “auto-progettata”. È una “Luigi qualcosa, una sorta di spettro, di riflesso, l’ombra di una sedia in stile che ho chiamato Louis Ghost, il fantasma Luigi”, ha raccontato più volte Starck.

La sua caratteristica trasparenza fa si che trovi il suo posto, non solo nelle case private, ma anche negli spazi collettivi più disparati come bar, ristoranti, … fino ad arrivare addirittura al Teatro dell’Opera di Praga.

Il segreto di tanto successo è svelato dallo stesso autore: «La sedia Louis Ghost è frutto del nostro subconscio collettivo; essa è il risultato naturale del nostro passato, del nostro presente e del nostro futuro».

Nel cuore di Roma la prima casa realizzata con materiali low cost

LA CASA DI PAGLIA “E’ meglio ridere in una casa di paglia che piangere in un castello”, recita un antico proverbio giapponese.

E forse è questo il leitmotive che ha ispirato la realizzazione, per la primissima volta in un contesto urbano quale il quartiere Quadraro a Roma, della casa di paglia: un edifico ad uso abitativo con struttura in legno e tamponatura, appunto, di paglia. La realizzazione di questo edificio è frutto dell’architetto Paolo Robazza per B.A.G. officinamobile.

La casa di paglia, oltre ad essere ecosostenibile e altamente performante sotto il punto di vista energetico, ha aperto la strada ad un nuovo modo di pensare l’architettura. Questa particolarissima tecnica costruttiva, nata in America nella seconda metà dell‘800, è stata riscoperta negli anni ’90 del secolo scorso. Nel nostro Paese sono già diversi gli esempi di case costruite secondo quest’arte, ma quella che sta sorgendo nel cuore di Roma è il primo esempio di casa “urbana”.

“La casa di paglia respira, è destinata a durare nel tempo - ha spiegato nel corso di una sua intervista l’architetto Robazza - è efficiente dal punto di vista energetico, calda d’inverno e fresca d’estate, completamente naturale. In più, il progetto dell’edificio romano, prevede un sistema di raccolta dell’acqua piovana, pannelli fotovoltaici e il solare termico per energia elettrica e acqua calda. Insomma, una casa ad altissima qualità a un costo relativamente basso”. Per costruirla, infatti, si spendono circa 1200 euro al metro quadrato.

Ma la casa di paglia ha centrato più di un obiettivo. Oltre infatti a gettare le basi verso un nuovo modo di costruire, utilizzando materiali che non rilasciano sostanze inquinanti nell’ambiente, si è caratterizzata già dal suo cantiere che è stato aperto a giovani professionisti, che si sono iscritti ad uno specifico corso di formazione, che ha permesso loro di imparare questa nuova tecnica e di partecipare attivamente anche ai lavori di costruzione.

Vietnam’s Incredible Past and Present

KHAN HMOONG A volte non servono parole per far rivivere nel presente il passato. Creare una fusione affascinante tra la realtà di un tempo, che riecheggia solo in ricordi sbiaditi, e l’attuale paesaggio figlio di cambiamenti che nel cuore e nel cemento mostra i segni di ciò che è diventato.

Il fotografo vietnamita Khan Hmoong, da sempre innamorato della sua terra, in sella ad una bici e con in mano una nikon D90 ha messo in piedi un progetto fotografico ardito: “Vietnam-Looking into the past”. In un frame l’artista ha catturato, fondendoli insieme, uno scatto d’epoca su uno scenario attuale. Ogni fotografia è meticolosamente allineata nella sua destinazione originaria e mostra senza veli i cambiamenti del paesaggio, facendo rivivere in un istante la storia e la cultura vietnamita. Le foto di cui Hmoong si è avvalso risalgono all’incirca a 30 o 50 anni fa. La maggior parte di esse ripercorre la guerra in Vietnam tra il 1955 e il 1975. Di notevole impatto emozionale lo scatto che cattura l’istante in cui, nel 1968, l’esercito di liberazione entra nella cittadella di Huè, liberandola, e quello che ripercorre, invece, gli ultimi istanti prima della fine del conflitto 7 anni dopo.

E’ il 30 aprile del 1975. All’alba quattro colonne corazzate si mettono in marcia per sferrare, da quattro luoghi diversi, l’attacco finale a Saigon, la capitale sudvietnamita, marciando verso il palazzo presidenziale, ultima roccaforte nemica nel centro della città. E’ da poco passato mezzogiorno quando il carro 843, un T54 di fabbricazione sovietica, ancora coperto da uno strato mimetico di foglie di cocco, comandato dal capocarro Bui Quang Tanh, sfonda il cancello del palazzo presidenziale di Doc Lap accogliendo così la resa di quel che resta dell’esercito Usa. At dawn, four armoured columns are marching, from four different directions for the final attack on Saigon, the South Vietnamese capital, marching towards the presidential palace, the last fortress of the enemy in the city center. It ‘just past noon when the carriage 843, a Soviet-made T54, still covered with a camouflaged layer of coconut leaves, commanded by chief Bui Quang Tanh, breaks through the gate of Doc Lap presidential palace accepting the surrender of what is left of the U.S. army.

From Medio Oriente a fast food without confusion

FALAFEL Dopo aver sfamato per secoli i popoli del Medio Oriente si sono conquistati un posto d’onore nella classifica dei migliori street food del mondo. Sono i Falafel, una vera e propria esplosione di aromi concentrata in semplici crocchette di ceci macinati, aglio, coriandolo e altre spezie, servite da sole o più spesso usate come ripieno del pane pita insieme alla salsa tahina, una salsina ai semi di sesamo, o una salsa allo yogurt e accompagnati da verdure fresche. Uno spuntino veloce ed economico, acquistabile più o meno ovunque, che rappresenta una vera e propria esperienza da assaporare già dalla fila. Si perché, se si è fortunati, durante l’attesa per acquistarli se ne può ricevere uno in regalo dal cuoco direttamente dalla friggitrice. I Falafel sono apprezzati da tutte le comunità che convivono in Israele, qualunque sia la loro religione. I palestinesi di Gerusalemme est e quelli del quartiere di Jaffa, a sud di Tel Aviv, servono e mangiano Falafel proprio come gli israeliani di origine ebraica, che li ammettono in quanto interamente vegetali e conformi ai precetti kosher che regolano l’assunzione e la preparazione degli alimenti nella religione ebraica.

Dove gustare i più gustosi Falafel? Tutti gli israeliani si vantano di conoscere il posto in cui vengono cucinati meglio, ma Gabai, in Bograshov St, a Tel Aviv, è sicuramente una garanzia. Al costo di 15 NIS (circa € 3) potrete gustare una manna, cioè una porzione di polpettine servite con la pita.

TEL AVIV Ha già 100 anni, ma non li dimostra. Si, perché Tel Aviv, la prima città ebraica moderna costruita in Israele, è in fermento 24 ore su 24. La sua architettura Bauhaus, dichiarata dall’Unesco patrimonio dell’umanità, le ha conferito il soprannome di “Città Bianca”, e con i suoi oltre 20 musei, tra cui quello della Terra di Israele (Ha’aretz) e il famosissimo museo d’Arte di Tel Aviv, la città è il centro nazionale della cultura; un’autentica metropoli cosmopolita, dove tradizione e modernità si incontrano, tra contemporaneità e le vie dei tempi antichi: la sua linea di confine più a sud, il porto di Jaffa, possiede una storia che risale almeno a 5000 anni fa. Tel Aviv è una nuova frontiera, un incubatore da cui, già da diversi anni, il mondo attinge. Grazie anche alla genialità di alcuni stilisti israeliani, la città si è fatta promotrice di uno stile nuovo, alleggerito da cliché e simboli ingombranti che ha saputo trasformare in semplice accessorio. Il tortuoso deck in legno (la cui forma s’ispira alle dune di sabbia del posto) si estende per oltre un chilometro e mezzo lungo uno dei più bei litorali del Mediterraneo.

2> Una mattinata al Mercato delle pulci di Jaffa: a sud di Tel Aviv, nel cuore della parte araba della città, ogni mattina, migliaia di bancarelle invadono l’area del vecchio mercato. Dopo la lunga scarpinata, potrete mangiare falafel, kebab, hummus e altre pietanze tipiche dirigendovi verso il mare e verso la torre dell’orologio.

3> Giocare a “matkot” sulla spiaggia: due racchette di legno, una pallina di plastica e l’acqua fresca del Mediterraneo. Sono gli ingredienti per divertirsi sulle spiagge d’oro della città. Giocando a quello che in molti definiscono “lo sport nazionale”.

4> Un giorno allo HaYarkon Park: una delle gemme verdi di Tel-Aviv. Qui si può fare jogging, kayak, passeggiare o semplicemente rilassarsi 5> Atletica lungo la “New Promenade”: quasi tutti i telavivini presentano una forma fisica pressochè perfetta. Merito, soprattutto, dell’intensa attività fisica che li tiene impegnati anche per tre ore al giorno. Attività che si svolge lungo tutta la promenade che costeggia il mare. Dal porto cittadino (a nord) fino al porto di Jaffa (al sud).

The sexy icons of beach volley

KRISTYNA KOLOCOVA E MARKETA SLUKOVA Creano scompiglio tra gli spettatori ogni volta che scendono in campo, pardon sulla sabbia. Sarà perché la loro mise è, spesso, un succinto bikini che unito al loro alto livello di competizione crea una miscela davvero esplosiva. Kristyna Kolocova e Marketa Slukova, sono il duo di beach volley della Repubblica Ceca che si è fatto notare, non solo per il talento, alle Olimpiadi di Londra 2012. Per le due bellissime atlete, che si sono aggiudicate il 5° posto, i Giochi Olimpici sono stati un trampolino di lancio verso un agonismo di livello mondiale. Kristyna, soprannominata Kiki, classe 1988, è la più bassa delle due. Per lei solo - si fa per dire - 1,70 cm di altezza per 62 kg. Nata a Nymburk, comincia a giocare a pallavolo solo – dice lei – perchè brava a dodgeball (uno sport di squadra nato come evoluzione agonistica della comune palla prigioniera). Poi a 17 anni è colpo di fulmine per il beach volley, e da 7 gioca in coppia con la Slukova. Marketa, detta Miki, ventiquattrenne anche lei, praghese doc, inizia a 5 anni la sua carriera sportiva. I primi 7 anni della sua vita li trascorre praticando ginnastica, una disciplina che abbandona per la sua fisicità, che oggi ha numeri da Top: 68 kg su un’altezza di 1,80 cm. La sua avventura nel mondo della pallavolo comincia così un po’ per caso. Fino ai 19 anni fa parte dell’Olymp Praga Club, poi l’incontro con Kiki, e da lì i primi successi nel beach volley, e lo scorso anno, il sogno che diventa realtà con la partecipazione alle Olimpiadi. Oggi il loro successo, dentro e fuori dal rettangolo di gioco, è cronaca sportiva. Good luck girls!

Kristyna Kolocova and Marketa Slukova are the beach volleyball duo of the Czech Republic that you can’t help noticing, not only for their talent, at the 2012 London Olympics. For two wonderful athletes who have gained the 5th place, the Olympic Games have been a stepping stone to a competitiveness world level. Kristyna, nicknamed Kiki, born in 1988, is the smaller of the two. Only for her 1.70 cm height and 62 kg.
