MY FIRST PROJECT MADE BY SOFTWARE: REVIT & 3D
THEORY APARTMENT
IN THIS PROJECT, I CONCENTRATE IN THREE MAIN PROBLEMS ABOUT APARTMENT INCLUDING TYPE, FORM AND GEOMETRY. THE TERM GARDERN APARTMENT WITH COURTYARDS THAT ARE OPEN AT ONE END IS MY ORIGINAL IDEA. DEFINITELY, THIS TYPE SHARES SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF A TOWN HOUSE: EACH APARTMENT HAS ITS OWN BUILDING ENTRANCE OR VIA A STAIRCASE AND LOBBY THAT ADJOINS OTHER UNITS IMMEDIATELY ABOVE/OR BELOW IT. THUS, SUCH GARDERN APARTMENT BUILDINGS ARE ALMOST NEVER MORE THAN THREE STORIES HIGH. BESIDES, THEY SEEM QUITE SPECIAL WITH LANDSCAPED GROUNDS SURROUNDING THEM WHILE MANY APARTMENT BUILDINGS ARE A MIX OR HYBRID OF TYPES, THREE OF THE MOST OFTEN-USED BASIC BUILDING FORMS ARE: THE BLOCK, THE TOWER AND THE COURTYARD. IN GENERAL, A BLOCK APARTMENT FORM IS USUALLY WIDER THAN IT IS TALL WHILE A TOWER APARTMENT BUILDING HAS A VERTICAL FORM AND A COURTYARD APARTMENT PROVIDES THE SIDES THAT ENCLOSE ONE OR MORE OPEN SPACES ON THE SITES. IT MIGHT BE SUPERFICIAL FOR ME TO CHOOSE THE TOWER FORM AND CREATE THE UNITS. HOWEVER, I DID SO AND ACTUATELLY IT WAS QUITE AMAZING AT THAT TIME. I AM ALWAYS KEEN ON CREATING NEW GEOMETRIES COMBINING UTILITY BETWEEN BEAUTY. THE APPROACH OF MY DESIGN WAS CREATING GARDERN COMMUNITY SPACE AND SHOWING THE ORDER ON THE FACADE

IN FACT, I HAD HAD MANY TROUBLE WITH MANAGING THE SIZE OF FILE IN REVIT UNTIL I REALLY STUDIED ABOUT IT. AS A RESULT, IN THIS PROJECT I WAS LATE AND I JUST RENDERED ONLY THE OVERALL PERPECTION BY 3D MAX. I AM WILLING TO LEARN MORE AND MORE REVIT AND 3D MAX IF POSSIBLE.

BRAINSTORMING IDEATION PROCESS
THE LOCATION OF PROJECT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM FOR DESIGNING. ACCORDING TO ARCHITECTURAL SPACE PLANNING, THE BUILDING WILL BE BUILT TOWARDS PRESERVING THE HISTORIC LANDSCAPE AND ARCHITECT. FOR EXAMPLE, THE OPPOSITE BUILDING, NAMED BANQUE DE L’INDOCHINE (NOW NATIONAL BANK) IS ONE OF THE OLDEST COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN HO CHI MINH CITY. HOWEVER, THIS AREA WILL DEVELOP AS BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL FUNCTION FOLLOWED FROM THE CETRE OF COMMERCIAL - FINANCIAL AREA. AS ARESULT, PRESVERVATION COMBINING WITH DEVELOPING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT. IN MY PERSONAL DESIGNING, I WANT TO USE BENEFIT ABOUT THE LOCATION FOR THE BASE OF BUILDING ‘ S FUNCTION. MEANWHILE, THE FORM OF LANDSCAPE IN APARTMENT WILL EXCHANGE FROM PARK TO TOWN. I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE THOROUGHLY ACTIVE AND USEFUL FOR RESIDENTIAL. WHAT HAPPENED WITH PRESERVATION? I ADMIT I DIDN’T SOLVE IT WELL. IN THIS PROJECT, I JUST PRESERVE AT BASIC LE VEL WHICH APPLIED FULL OF RULES IN ARCHITECTURAL SPACE PLANNING.
COMMERCIAL TOWN
I HAVE 4 TOWERS WITH 3 CHARACTERISTIC PLAN TYPES. EACH TYPE HAVE 3 FLATS INCLUDING 3 BEDROOM FLAT, 2 BEDROOM FLAT AND ONE BEDROOM FLAT. SPECIALLY, THE LAST CHARACTERISTIC PLAN NAMED ‘OFFICER’ CAN BECOME A FLAT OR AN OFFICE DEPENDING ON OWNER’S DEMAND. THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT FOR ME IS CREATING ENOUGH OPENS TO ALLOW THE DAYLIGHT INTO MINIMUM SOME SPACES SUCH AS LIVING ROOM, BEDROOM AND KITCHEN IN EACH FLAT.

I CHOOSE 3 BEDROOM FLAT TO DETAIL INTERIOR INCLUDING FURNITURE AND DECORATION FOR TESTING SPACE IN 3D. THUS, INTERIOR STYLE IS SIMPLE, NEUTRAL AND MODERN SO AS TO INTENSIFY THE SPACES AND CORNER OF SPACES. MOEREVER, I FEEL SATISFIED WITH DAYLIGHT IN THIS FLAT, REALLY ENOUGH FOR ALL ROOMS.

MANY PEOPLE SAY THAT BINH DUONG IS A DEVELOPING PROVINCE IN INDUSTRY WITH MANY FACTORIES AND INVESTED PROJECTS. BESIDES, BINH DUONG USED TO BE FAMOUS FOR TRADITIONAL HANDICRAFT VILLAGES. ALTHOUGH NOWADAYS, THESE VILLAES ALMOST DISAPPEARED AND QUALIFY OF HANDICRAFT PRODUCTIONS ARE NOT STABLE, THERE ARE STILL MANY COMPANIES ABOUT WOODEN FURNITURE, POTTERIES OR LACQUER STRONGLY SUCCEED. FOR THESE REASON, I SUGGEST TO ERECT A COLLEGE OF APPLIED ART AND CRAFT BASING ON SOME EDUCATINAL PROCESSES AROUND THE WORLD IN ORDER TO NOT ONLY PRESERVE AND DEVELOP BINHDUONG’S BENEFITS BUT ALSO SUPPLY SKILLFUL LABOUR. THE LOCATION OF MY PROJECT IS IN THE NORTH OF TAN UYEN, AT THE AREA FOR EDUCATION ACCORDING TO ARCHITECTURAL PLANNING DETAIL 2030. THIS AREA IS NEAR INDUSTRIAL PARKS AND RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS. IT WOULD BE NOT MORE SUITALBE TO BUILD A COLLEGE WITH VOCATIONAL TRAINING. FINALLY, I CONCENTRATE IN CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM AND SPECIAL LEARNING ABOUT DESIGNING ART AND CRAFT SO I CHOOSE A CURVE-FORM LAND WHICH IS NEAR A RIVER.
COURTYARD COURTYARDS OR PLAY YARDS IS IMPORTANT FOR STUDENT LEARNING ABOUT ART. THEY CREATE MANY SPACES USED FOR NOT ONLY LEARNING SUCH AS DESIGNING, MAKING BUT ALSO ENTERTAIN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS EVENTS, PARTIES...AS A RESULT, I DIVIDE INTO MANY OUTSIDE MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACES BESIDING THE LEARNING HALLS AND CENTER OF THE COLLEGE.
INTERIOR MATERIAL LIBRARY
LIBRARY IS THE MOST CHARACTERISTIC SPACE FOR EDUCATIONAL PROJECT. FURTHERMORE, FOR THE COLLEGE OF ART, MATERIAL LIBRARY IS QUITE INTERESTING IN INTERIOR AND FURNITURE. THIS IS THE REASON I CHOOSE LIBRARY TO DESIGN DETAILLY.
THIS PROJECT HAVE IUST STOPPED AT STUDENT LEVEL. EVENTHOUGH THERE ARE STILL MANY PROBLEMS TO MAKE IT COME TRUE, I BELIVE THAT IT IS THOROUGHLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DEVELOP THIS PROJECT. IT IS NECESSARY FOR VIETNAM TO PRESERVE AND DEVELOP HANGDICRAFT INDUSRY BY CAREFULLY INVESTED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.

IN FACT, I DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR ARCHITECTURAL COMPETIONS BUT I AM ALWAYS SURE WITH THEIR BENIFITS. WITH THIS PROFECT, I GOT A CHANCE TO INTRODUCE AND PERSUADE MANY THE PROFESSIONS ABOUT MY ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTIONS PRACTICALLY. MOREVER, JOINING BROUGHT ME A PLENTY OF KNOWLEDGES, EXPERIENCES AND PRACTICING SOFT SKILLS. A GOOD TEAM IS QUITE IMPORTANT FOR COMPETITION, TOO.
