The Obergurgl already dons its sparkling white winter robe in late autumn. We welcome our guests from 16 November 2023 onwards, with the aim of making your break from everyday life unforgettable and wonderful. The Hochfirst can look back on a long tradition that has been governed by one and the same credo across generations: to perfect what is already outstanding. We feel blessed that we are able to celebrate our 90th anniversary in the coming winter season. Today, we can be proud of the numerous awards confirming that the Hochfirst is one of the leading ski hotels in the Alps. As a member of the renowned HIDEAWAYS HOTELS, we belong to a collection of hand-picked hotels all over the world that are managed by their owners with heart and soul, which makes them hotels with personality.

We have already achieved much. However, there's one thing we really can't take the credit for: the Hochfirst's unique and magical location directly at the foot of the impressive mountain scenery. In fact, that's the real luxury we offer: being able to get right onto the ski slopes directly outside the hotel, and right into the fantastic winter landscape that spreads from an altitude of 1,900 metres all the way up to the world of the three-thousanders. Now that's what we call "skiin and ski-out" at the most snow-sure winter sports destination in the Alps! A paradise for all winter sports fans, as well as the world's best skiers. On 18 November, the ski stars taking part in the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup - Men's Giant Slalom guarantee a top-class sports event.

The "Santé" vinothek has been curated for this express purpose: This impressive venue boasts a stylish setting for wine tastings with our sommelier or for an exclusive private dinner with fondue or gourmet menu. The table, which is made of old oak-barrel wood, is one of a kind. It was crafted exclusively for the Hochfirst out of 6,500 litre Zweigelt barrels sourced from the Domäne Wachau Dürnstein winery. Thanks to its high altitude, the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl region guarantees perfect snow conditions from mid November to the end of April. About 90 % of the slopes have highly modern snowmaking equipment. Using the Alpen-Wellness Resort Hochfirst***** as a starting point, take the connecting lift located directly behind the hotel to quickly and comfortably reach all 112 kilometres slopes for skiing fun.

TOBOGGAN RUN HOCHGURGL

Starting at the Hochgurgl cable car middle station, a natural sledding course runs all the way down to the valley station in Pill. The 3 km long course is romantically illuminated at night and features lots of winding turns and a comfortable ascent with the Hochgurgl cable car.

Useful information… Hochfirst’s Reservation Policies

RATES

All rates include half board. The local tax of € 4.00 per person/day will be added separately.

DEPOSIT

50% of the total amount will be charged at reservation. Reservations can only be guaranteed if the deposit is paid on time.

CANCELLATIONS

After reservations have been made, the rules and regulations of the Conditions of Austrian Hotels apply, also for cancellations. We will charge the full amount according to the reservation even if you depart early. We recommend purchasing a travel insurance policy.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, as well as Austrian, German and Dutch ATM cards.

PETS

Pets are not allowed anywhere at the Alpen-Wellness Resort.

ROOMS

We will try to consider your specific room wishes, but we cannot make guarantees. Room plans and interior illustrations may differ slightly from actual rooms.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT

Rooms are ready from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. The rooms remain available to you until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Please contact us if you would like to check out late (surcharge).

PARKING GARAGE

We would be pleased to reserve a parking garage space for an additional charge of € 15.00 per day.

A DIRECT APPROACH TO THE ÖTZTAL VALLEYARRIVING BY HELICOPTER

At eye level with the Tyrolean mountains: In cooperation with Heli Tirol, we offer exclusive journeys by helicopter, which will fly you directly from the Innsbruck and Munich airports to the Ötztal valley where a shuttle will await you at the heliport in Hochgurgl to take you to the Hochfirst.

SURCHARGES & DISCOUNTS

The following surcharges and discounts apply to single occupancy per room/night: Double room: € 120.00 (€ 220.00 in the high season).

Suites: € 220.00 (during the high season € 25.00 is subtracted from the double-occupancy room price).
