Why DigiPen (Singapore)?
Academics
From their first trimester onward, DigiPen (Singapore) students tackle complex academic subjects related to their field of study. For computer science and engineering majors, this includes advanced math, physics, and computer science. Art majors build a strong foundation in traditional drawing, 3D sculpting and modelling, as well as hand-drawn and computer animation.
Real-World Projects
Through a heavy emphasis on project courses, students apply their academic studies by creating original games, software engines, and digital animations from ground up. In doing so, students gain the knowledge to become creators — not just users — of technology.
Collaboration
DigiPen (Singapore)’s industry-modelled environment allows students from multiple degree programs to work together as a team — bringing together the disciplines of art, computer science, and design. By leveraging teamwork and communication skills, students create high-quality projects while gaining valuable experience that will prepare them for jobs in the industry.
Experienced Faculty
DigiPen (Singapore) faculty hail from renowned companies and academic institutions. DigiPen (Singapore)’s Program Advisory Committees — comprising DigiPen (Singapore) faculty members and director-level employees from companies like Acronis Asia, BANDAI NAMCO Studios Singapore, KOEI TECMO Singapore, Land Transport Authority, Lucasfilm Singapore, and ST Engineering — meet twice a year to ensure DigiPen (Singapore)’s curriculum continues to evolve alongside industry needs.
