Fusion bistro To well-informed “hip” Sandtonians the name Aki Hadjipetros is associated with trendy and scrumptious dining experiences.

With this success under his experienced belt this risk-taking restaurateur challenged his own skills and those of his now established team’s skills and entered yet another diner’s market. With confident expectancy Aki teased the South African public to a new gastronomic experience when together with Jean he opened Bay Leaf and Sage in Melrose. Fusing Café Kafe with 8@The Towers this upmarket deli-cum-bistro established country style appeal with eclectic high quality food. Offering nouvelle twists of taste with visual appeal Bay Leaf and Sage drew patrons by combining light treats with take home delicacies and soon this corner hangout became as infectiously appealing as its predecessors.
