Google + - How it will Affect Search Results

Google + - How It Will Affect Search Results? Recently Google launched its main man to topple over facebooks' domination over the social media world. Corollary to this is the growing curiousness of online marketers and search engine optimization experts as to the effectivity of google plus to affect search rankings. After the launch of google plus, they also launched their +1 button for websites. The function of this +1 button is certainly to allow users to recommend relevant content pages they like by clicking the +1 button. Then in a flash, such recommendations will be visible on the webpages, on search results and on users’ Google profiles. Hence, it is not hard to imagine that Google plus and the +1 button would not have a substantial weight on both indexation and ranking of URL's in the search results. The fact hits hard that the +1 button is included on every post within google plus, also on content publisher's websites, and on top of this all, on every search result that google itself returns. We cannot say exactly what would be the algorithm effect of this but in the near future we would definitely know it. For those who may be interested to use the +1 button, Google has set up a code generator that allows you to customize the size and language of the button. To this effect, the button is available in 40 languages and it will currently only appear in English-language search results. But despite all of these things about google plus, there is only one many of us are really interested in knowing about. How does the Google +1 button affect search results? Coming straight from Google, adding the + button to your pages will let users recommend your content, then when your friends and contacts see such recommendation, they may also see it as relevant and recommend it, and later on such would be visible on the search results. Most especially when a google plus user is signed in and is searching. In this situation, the google search result will be annotated with the names of the user's connections who've 1+'d the content you posted. The appearance of the +1 recommendations in the organic search results will surely affect click-through rates. In addition, google also announced that the +1 data itself will be one of the signals used to determine organic rankings: Google stated that the +1 data can be a useful signal to Google when determining the relevance of your page to a user’s query. Hence, this is really just one of many signals Google may use to determine a page’s relevance and ranking. Google added that they are constantly tweaking and improving their algorithm to improve overall search quality. Upon the other hand, another issue is boiling because of these moves by the google plus. The mere fact that they suspended their real time search is really a thing. It cannot be denied that for the past years Google had used Twitter not only to power real time results, but also for faster indexation of content and, we believe, to calculate Author Authority for use in their ranking algorithm. But then recently Google said that they plan on reinstating real time search with the power of Google+. How about the relevance that facebook had because of facebook likes? Surely, now that google has its own ways and means to affect search engine rankings, it is more likely that they will change their own algorithm to give preference to their own social network over facebook and twitter. Planning to sign up in google plus? Here are some tips to get more followers: - Invite people from your other social media networks to Google Plus. - Comment on other peoples threads.
