Fiesta!
KING ANTONIO CI
Welcome to the banks of the world-famous San Antonio Riverwalk and the 2024 Texas Cavaliers River Parade: Viva America! Great American Landmarks!
We are incredibly proud that The Texas Cavaliers River Parade charitable honoree this year is The Alamo, specifically the now under-construction Texas Cavaliers Education Center. The Texas Cavaliers Education Center is scheduled to open in the summer of 2025, when it will begin serving more than 250,000 students annually.
Please join us in welcoming our grand marshal, Warner Music Nashville recording super star William Beckmann. Mr. Beckmann hails from Del Rio, and his career continues to skyrocket with his Grand Ole Opry debut last year. He has been chosen to lead our parade due to his incredible commitment to and support of philanthropic ventures in his native South Texas.
This evening you will see beautifully decorated floats representing some of the many children’s charities The Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation proudly supports. Please join me in celebrating the hard work these organizations do to make San Antonio a better place for our most precious resource, the youth of our community.
Just this afternoon, the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation provided more than $8.5 million in grants to 63 local children’s charities. Your patronage of the Texas Cavaliers River Parade helps to make these grants possible. On behalf of the over 620 members of our organization - THANK YOU for your generous support benefitting the children of San Antonio and South Texas.
As a part of the core mission of The Texas Cavaliers, we honor the brave men and women who serve in our Armed Forces. They and their families represent the finest of our nation. Please stand and acknowledge them as they pass by on our military floats and remind them this is MILITARY CITY USA!
This year, my message to the school children I visit is “Be DEDICATED.” I want to encourage everyone to work hard and complete the task at hand - whether in school, home, church or sports. Be dedicated and cross the finish line!
During this Fiesta, please join The Texas Cavaliers in celebrating the diverse cultures and over 300 years of history that make San Antonio this great nation’s best community!
Viva San Antonio and Viva Fiesta!

TEXAS
PARADE MARSHAL
Welcome to the 79th Texas Cavaliers River Parade, a dazzling Fiesta tradition that enchants hundreds of thousands each year. We’re genuinely thrilled to have you join us for this spectacular celebration!
This year’s river parade theme, “Viva America: Great American Landmarks,” is not just a proclamation; it’s an invitation to revel in the spirit of unity, diversity, and pride that defines our nation. From the Statue of Liberty in New York to the Grand Canyon in Arizona and the historic Alamo in San Antonio, our floats will showcase the breathtaking diversity of American landmarks.
As we navigate this journey through iconic landscapes, we pause to honor a special entity – the 2024 Texas Cavaliers River Parade Charitable Honoree: the new Texas Cavaliers Education Center at the Alamo. This center will be a beacon of knowledge, welcoming thousands of students annually to explore the profound history that holds significance not just for Texas but for the entire nation.
Amidst the celebration, it’s crucial to extend our heartfelt thanks. Special appreciation goes to River Parade Vice Marshal Tres Steves and River Parade Operations Officer Alcide Longoria for their enduring friendship, support, and dedicated efforts. I would also like to thank my amazing family! My wife, Helen, and our 2 children, Christian and Kenzie. The support that each of them has provided throughout this experience has can express in words.
extends to the exceptional individuals who make possible – the River Parade Chairmen, Assistants, Board and Members, Texas Cavalier Foundation, our incredibly generous sponsors. Your collective weave the fabric of this unforgettable experience.

GRAND MARSHAL
WILLIAM BECKMANN
Raised in the small border town of Del Rio, Texas, William Beckmann grew up immersed in the sounds of classic country, mariachi, and Norteño music from northern Mexico. His unique blend of vintage country, Americana, and Latin rhythms is delivered with a timeless baritone and a maturity that defies his young age. Beckmann’s talents caught the eyes of industry veterans like Randy Rogers and fellow Del Rio native Radney Foster, leading him to relocate to Nashville. There, he inked a publishing deal with Warner Chappell.
Beckmann’s 2022 album “Faded Memories” featured standout tracks like the slow-burning “Bourbon Whiskey” and the haunting “In The Dark,” earning acclaim from American Songwriter, CMT, and others. His follow-up album in 2023, “Here’s To You. Here’s To Me,” continued his ascent with hits like “Damn This Heart Of Mine” and “Tennessee Drinkin’,” both topping the Texas Regional Radio Chart. These singles further cemented his reputation, garnering praise from Saving Country Music, Whiskey Riff, and Billboard.
Independent of major labels, Beckmann has built an impressive fanbase, boasting over 670,000 followers on TikTok and more than 16 million streams. His recent achievements include a debut at the Grand Ole Opry, signing with Warner Music Nashville, and touring with acts like Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers Band, and Wade Bowen. His solo shows have also seen significant success, including five sold-out performances at the iconic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas.
Beckmann expressed profound gratitude for being named Grand Marshal in San Antonio, a city he considers his second home. He is especially thankful to the Texas Cavaliers for the opportunity to celebrate the community in such an honorary role.

Sponsor: Valero
The Cavaliers are honored to announce the 2024 River Parade Charitable
31 Find Us On #TXCavs
Honoree is the Texas Cavaliers Education Center.
The Alamo campus is about to get a major upgrade. The Alamo Trust Inc., in conjunction with the Texas Cavaliers, broke ground on a large-scale education center set to open its doors to students looking for some hands-on learning at the iconic San Antonio staple come summer of 2025. What’s it called? Well, after a $5 million contribution from the Texas Cavaliers and after the project was named the primary charity for the local organization’s fundraising this year, it only makes sense it’d be named after the Cavaliers.
Officials broke ground on the facility last November, which will sit on the southeast corner of the Alamo campus marking the start of a year-and-a-half long development process. The new facility will be a hands-on, learning center for San Antonio with an outdoor classroom, orientation theater, agricultural garden, and multifunctional classrooms. The new site expected to increase the Alamo’s educational pull from 150,000 students a year to upwards of 250,000 and will be named the Texas Cavaliers Education Center after the Cavaliers contributed $5 million for the project.
The Alamo tells the story of Texas Independence as part of its 300-year history to over 1.6 million visitors each year and is the #1 most visited destination in the state of Texas. It is a National Historic Landmark and part of the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas.

FIESTA
To the men and women of the military of the United States of America:
On behalf of The Texas Cavaliers, it is my privilege and honor to welcome each one of you to the 79th Annual Texas Cavalier River Parade. You are our most honored guests. The Texas Cavaliers enjoy a strong and proud relationship with all the branches of the U.S. Military and that relationship has always been a cornerstone of our organization since its inception.
The Texas Cavaliers recognize the extraordinary sacrifices that each of you and your families have made to serve our nation. We realize that you are not recognized in relation to the impact of your service to our country and the freedoms we take for granted. We understand and appreciate that many of you have missed significant and important occasions in your lives as the result of your military commitments and obligations. We honor those costs of service and sacrifice.
Our organization acknowledges your many sacrifices as extraordinary and indicative of your faithful service and that your military commitment to our country is a great calling in life. Your sacrifice grants us the freedom to live in a secure and sovereign land.
While your story and reasons for serving may go untold in many corners of this world, your passionate patriotism and selfless service to protect our way of life and our freedom will never be forgotten. Please know that heroes such as yourselves do not have to speak to be heard, and rarely do our service men and women tell their own stories. However, your actions, sacrifices, and pain are captured and manifested in the most enduring and patriotic image of our great nation – the flag of the United States of America. For your service, we thank you, words which are wholly inadequate, but be it forever known that every member of The Texas Cavaliers thanks you, salutes you and honors you for your patriotic service to this great nation.
On behalf of all The Texas Cavaliers and their families, welcome to The Texas Cavaliers River Parade!
Viva Fiesta!

The First Responders Program was launched in 2011 to honor and thank the hardworking men and women of local police and fire departments who risk their lives to protect ours. Each year, using donations from companies and individuals that share our immense gratitude for their service, we purchase and distribute River Parade tickets to active members and their families of the SAPD, SAFD, Bexar County Sheriff’s Dept. Regional DPS and Park Police, as well as honorees of The 100 Club.

CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
Dear River Parade Guests,
Welcome to the 2024 Texas Cavaliers Fiesta River Parade! Tonight’s spectacular parade would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, charitable partners, and all who are here to party with us. Fiesta commemorates San Antonio’s history, culture, and the many ethnicities that make our city unique. Your contributions to the Texas Cavaliers River Parade and Charitable Foundation are helping us make a positive, long-lasting impact on the lives of children in need across Bexar County.
Heartfelt thanks to River Parade Marshal Jonathan Dear, who along with his hardworking team of over 100 Cavalier volunteers, have put literally thousands of hours into planning tonight’s parade saluting “Great American Landmarks.” This remarkable parade is more than a colorful and patriotic celebration of festive music and dance with vibrant costumes and decorations. Net proceeds from the parade help fund children’s charities through the non-profit Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation (TCCF). This year, King Antonio Scott Christy is distributing $1 million to 63 children’s charities!
King Antonio also delivered cash and pledges totaling $7.5 million to the Alamo Trust, Inc. – in fulfillment of the Texas Cavaliers’ pledge of $5 million for the new Texas Cavaliers Education Center at the Alamo, plus another $2.5 million from Susan Naylor and the Will Smith Foundation.
Since its inception in 1989, the TCCF has donated $18 million to charities that are providing healing, education, recreation, and hope to children suffering from chronic health conditions, poverty, disabilities, abuse, and other hardships. By joining us along the banks of our beautiful river tonight, you are partnering with us in changing children’s lives, and we thank you.
Our Fiesta River Parade is the primary source of funding for the TCCF, along with gifts from Cavaliers and friends in the community to ensure that the critical funding we provide will continue in perpetuity. With expertise and prudent oversight, the TCCF Board of Trustees and our team of trusted advisors guide our investments and scrupulously vet each grant applicant.
Visit our website, www.texascavaliers.org and click on “Charitable Foundation” if you’d like to continue to partner with us and make our community a compassionate place for children to thrive.
And now let the festivities begin!
VIVA FIESTA AND THE TEXAS CAVALIERS!

Our Clients:
I wish I had the words to describe how essential Diggs Transformations has been to my quality-of-life while remodeling a 100 year old home. After other home remodel projects, I did not have high hopes about any painting/remodeling company but Diggs blew my expectations out of the water. Justin is a master of his craft who took on our interior, exterior, and cabinetry painting projects with gusto. He holds his employees to the highest standards and the workmanship by everyone on the Diggs team is top of the line. Justin also has an eye for design. For example, in my daughter’s nursery he recommended some custom wood trim on the ceiling and now the room feels fully cohesive.
Each of the jobs we have hired Diggs for have always been completed within the expected budget and the anticipated time frame. Every job site is left clean and well maintained throughout the entirety of the project. Justin has advised my husband and I on multiple projects and provided exceptional referrals for landscaping, fencing, carpentry, architecture, and electrical.
I am thrilled to have found this gem of a company in San Antonio and plan to use Diggs for all future remodeling painting projects. I have complete trust in Justin and his entire team to produce exceptional work to create a positive environment while doing it. It can be hard constantly having people in your home during home renovation projects, but it never feels that way with the Diggs team. They are mindful of our time, space, and my family’s needs. I cannot give a higher recommendation than the one I give for Diggs.
Sincerely,
Danielle Dworaczyk
