Clarity Child Guidance Center is the only nonprofit in South Texas providing a continuum of care for children, ages 3-17, with mental illnesses ranging from ADHD and anxiety to suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder and/or schizophrenia. Kate Fagan, author of “What Made Maddy Run—The Secret Struggles and Tragic Death of an All-American Teen,” a No. 1 New York Times bestseller on sports list. John is in his 45th year of publishing and marketing that began at the Express-News and vaulted him into the creation of Ventana USA, the Spanish language magazine for U.S. advertisers in Mexico, followed by 12 years at a direct marketing agency named Di-Marc Communications. From the brick streets in Mexico City to the smoother pavement of New York City, Los Angeles, CA, and Washington D.C., John was happy to settle down in his hometown with Scene In S.A. as the bookend to a wonderful and continuing career.
