Titanic Museum

Ride the Ducks

Expect to see Titanic in a whole new light. Unlike traveling exhibits, the Titanic Museum is a permanent two-story museum attraction shaped like Titanic herself. The museum features 20 galleries and more than 400 priceless artifacts that once belonged to Titanic’s passengers.

Quack along for this 70-minute, one-of-a-kind tour of the Ozarks. Journey from the top of a mountain to the waters of Table Rock Lake. Your entertaining captain mixes fun, music, and history into an interactive Branson experience.

The Track Family Fun Park Amusement center with go-karts, mini-golf, bumper boats, kids rides, and wooden tracks, for a mix between a go-kart ride and a roller coaster.

US Olympic Training Center The US Olympic Training Center tour includes a 12-minute film and 45-minute walking tour of the complex conducted by a current athlete. During the tour, visitors have the opportunity to view athlete training facilities including Sport Center Gymnasiums, weightlifting and wrestling facilities, the USA Shooting Center, Coaching & Sport Science, the Aquatics Center, and Sport Medicine.

Pikes Peak Cog Railway Take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway from Manitou Springs to the Visitors Center on the summit of Pikes Peak. Completed in 1891, the railway climbs 7,539 vertical feet in 9 short miles during its 3 1/2 hour round trip. Make sure you wear your layers, temperatures can range from warm at the base to below freezing on the summit, even in summer!

Indoor Rock Climbing Challenge your students with a trip to one of the many indoor climbing centers in Colorado Springs. Group lessons will give a broad overview of bouldering, lead, and top rope belay climbing.

Garden of the Gods Garden of the Gods Park is a 1,323 acre registered National Natural Landmark with both scenic and recreational opportunities. Some of the most spectacular views of the Garden of the Gods Park are accessible from the Visitor & Nature Center terrace, which spans the entire front of the building. This iconic perspective of Pikes Peak, framed by the foothills and the red sandstone of the park, is simply breathtaking. The terrace is an amazing setting for a group photo!

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is a one-of-a-kind place for your students to make memories that will last a lifetime! The 360-acre park contains 21 rides, show, and attractions for you and your students to explore. Experience awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Gorge from the worldâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s highest Suspension Bridge that hangs 1,053 feet high and spans a quarter mile across the canyon!

USS Lexington Museum on the Bay

Nicknamed “The Blue Ghost,” the USS Lexington is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during World War II for the U.S. Navy. Following her retirement nearly 50 years later, the Lexington now serves as a floating museum dedicated to the men and women who served aboard her. Enjoy a selfguided tour and witness a dramatic re-enactment in the 3D Mega Theater.

Texas State Aquarium

Waikiki Beach

Located on the south shore of Honolulu, the world-famous neighborhood of Waikiki was once a playground for Hawaiian royalty. Known in Hawaiian as “spouting waters,” Waikiki was introduced to the world when its first hotel, the Moana Surfrider, was built on its shores in 1901. Today, Waikiki is Oahu’s main hotel and resort area and a vibrant gathering place for visitors from around the world. Along the main strip of Kalakaua Avenue, you’ll find world-class shopping, dining, entertainment and activities.

Semicircular Hanauma Bay, located on Oahu’s windward coast, is a spectacular tropical paradise sporting a half-mile of perfect whitesand beach backed by exotic palm trees. Once a favorite fishing spot for Hawaiian royalty, this extinct volcanic crater is frequented by spotted eagle rays, turtles and more than 450 species of tropical fish including the Hawaii state fish, the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a.

Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum

The trail to the summit of Le’ahi (Hawaiian name for Diamond Head Crater) was built in 1908 as part of Oahu’s coastal defense system. At the summit, you’ll see bunkers on the crater rim and a navigational lighthouse built in 1917 along the coast outside the crater. The postcard view of the shoreline of southeastern Oahu from Koko Head to Wai’anae is stunning, and during winter may include passing humpback whales.

Within the grounds of Pearl Harbor are a number of exhibits, displays, memorials, and museums, honoring not only the 1,177 victims of the Japanese attacks, but all of those who bravely served in World War II. Built over the wreckage of the USS Arizona, the Memorial is a sobering experience where visitors to Hawaii come to pay their respects. The USS Missouri Battleship and the Pacific Aviation Museum are located on Ford Island, offering unique insights into the war. The USS Bowfin Submarine takes visitors through the narrow corridors of an integral war vessel which was often submerged for months at a time.

Worlds of Fun is themed to Jules Verne’s “Around the World in 80 Days” and follows an international theme in its five worlds: Scandinavia, The Orient, Americana, Europa and Africa.

As the longtime home of the major airline manufacturing companies, Seattle is no stranger to the miracle of flight. The Museum of Flight, located adjacent to Boeing’s Seattle headquarters, is one of the finest aviation museums in the world. More than 150 historic artifacts are on display, including the legendary SR-71 Blackbird (capable of speeds up to Mach 3 and altitudes above 85,000 feet), an original Concorde jetliner and the actual 707 jet used as Air Force One during the ‘50s, ‘60s and early ‘70s. Many of the exhibits are hands-on and perfect for students, including flight simulators, a control tower and the Kid’s Flight Zone, where they can strap on flight gear and test their piloting skills.

Open year-round, this is Seattle’s most iconic attraction. The market contains aisles of fruits and vegetables, tables overflowing with fresh floral bouquets, and booth after booth selling all manner of locally made jewelry, clothing and gifts. It’s also a great place to enjoy many fantastic eateries serving prepared dishes. When you’re not sure what kind of food you’re in the mood to eat, just head to Pike Place Market and sample a little of everything. There’s also the whole fish-throwing thing, too.

The San Juan Islands provide one of the best whale watching opportunities anywhere in the world; offering calm waters and a huge variety of wildlife, including three pods of resident Orca whales.

The Mount St. Helens Visitor Center features walk-through interpretive exhibits and award-winning theater programs to educate on the tale of events lead to the 1980 eruption. Highlights of the center include a walkthrough volcano model. Nearby, a one-mile nature trail and the Silver Lake wetlands provide opportunities to observe waterfowl, wildlife and native vegetation against the backdrop of Mount St. Helens.
