Using the method of comparative analysis between the prognoses of the municipal master plans for the cities which are the subject of the examination, and satellite photographs for the current condition of their green systems, this survey analyses the influence of natural factors on the structure of cities and their green systems. What will be surveyed is first the proportion, in percentage, of green system elements in the central city parts and their peripheries and second the influence of the street network density on the amount of greenery among city structures. Also being studied is the posibility of compensating for the lack of green spaces in the central city area through forming more green roofs systems ,where possible. On the basis of these results, the following research will make recommendations on the improvement of the green systems of cities which are subject of the examination.
