L ESSON 1

Email Signature

Select options from the menu choices.

You should include a signature with any email. This signature usually includes your name and some information about yourself. It can also contain contact information. Outlook provides a way to include your signature with every email automatically. To setup your email signature, click the settings menu.

In the options page, click the settings section.

In the settings section you will find the email signature configuration area. Click once inside the email signature box.

Enter any information you would like to include in emails. You should include your name, title, campus or department and your campus phone number. Any other information is at your discretion.

Below the email signature box is a check box to automatically include this signature in all emails sent. Place a check mark on this box.

Your email signature doesn't have to be plain. Use the formatting tools to add some interest to your email signature.

When your ready to save, click the save button at the bottom of the page.

The formatting for my email signature is understated, but that's my choice. Format the text to your liking.

A please wait message will appear while your changes are being saved.

Return to Outlook by clicking the return button.

Click the new mail button.

The signature you just created is automatically included at the bottom of the email.
