Read Receipt Outlook: Read Receipt Request
Select show message options from the menu choices.
It's possible to request a read receipt from a recipient in an email. With a read receipt, the sender is sent an email confirming the recipient has clicked on the message. 
 Click the additional options menu. Note: The recipient could setup their account to not send responses to read receipts. In which case, you won’t get a response to a read receipt. 2
A message options box will display. Click the request a read receipt option.
You can also choose to have a delivery receipt sent. This is a good way to confirm the email was delivered. Click ok to save.
