My story began at Mr Blago's house in a small borderline village. What is a borderline? It's a line we cannot see but it is there. I was hatched in a nest made out of dirt and hay- the warmest and most beautiful home. When I was able to look outside, I wanted to see the whole world. I was still small and weak and when I tried to fly away I fell on the cold ground. I could feel the warm hands picking me up and caressing me, it was Mr Blago's grandson who came to visit that day. I overheard him say to his grandpa that they should make me a nice cage and look after me but Mr Blago explained to him that birds have needs just like humans, they need food and water but foremost they love their freedom which has no boundaries. Then, for months, the neighborhood kids would care for me, they would feed me and give me water and would teach me fly in the air. Slowly I would grow stronger and my feathers grew bigger and in the end I was able to fly by myself. One could hear the songs coming out of me but my gaze was upon the borderline over which was that big wide world where I could find many friends some day. On one sunny day mr Blago opened the windows and he let me I flew far away. That's when my exciting life and journey on wings began. „Radost“ Bulgaria
