Germantown Academy Summer Day Camp
Week Four Newsletter (July 16 –July 20, 2012) Note from the Director We started this week off strong by having the troops compete in a scavenger hunt! They had to find unique things such as a four leaf clovers, movie ticket stubs, Delaware State Quarters, etc. We celebrated our Fear Factor Day by having a race with eggs and an ice water challenge. We finished the week with our Carnival day! Campers jumped on the Moon Bounce, created Spin Art, played fun carnival games and ate lots of popcorn and cotton candy! Each camper then was sent home with a goodie bag filled with prizes and candy! Tyler Stampone Day Camp Director
Morning campers experience instructional swim and all campers enjoy free swim in the afternoon.
Lost and Found Parents, please remember to label EVERYTHING you send to camp.
Parent “To Do” List
Please apply sunscreen every morning; we spend most of the day outside. Also, please send a labeled water bottle with your child each day. Because the weather is very hot and campers are active all day, please be sure your camper has a nutritious lunch. If your child is going to be late, requires an early pick-up, or will be absent from GA Day Camp, please call the Summer Programs Office at 267-405-7321 or email us at summer@gacamp.org
