I am a creative, responsible, organized, friendly and confident person. So I strongly believe these characteristics will make me a ideal participant of a design team. During both my undergraduate and postgraduate study about architect, I significantly developed my design and graphic skills through a diverse range of design projects, not only residential, but also commercial and public buildings and facilities, such as sport centre, museum and university. After graduation, joining an international company allows me to work with current design techniques, building systems, and keep current with design trends, code changes, and development to sustain and improve technical and design skills. COMMENTS I have every confidence in my abilities to believe that my background and achievements will enable me to make a valuable contribution to any suitable vacancy you are offering. Thank you for considering my application. I will be delighted to attend an interview at your convenience.
STUDENT PROJECT ST PANCRAS RESIDENCE LONDON
GRADUATION PROJECT
P2.01/
ST PANCRAS RESIDENTIAL, LONDON MARCH YEAR 2 AXONOMETRIC
Manifesto The project brief describes the condition of London housing recently, “Housing Crisis. The issue of insufficient supply of housing is happening in many cities around the world. It is a real and urgent problem which has to be resolved in order to make sure the next generations have enough space for living. This situation also leads to many sub-issues such as uneconomic distortions to the value of residential property. Responding to the Housing Crisis in London requires a new thinking that has an architectural consequence. When a city is growing in population faster than its housing stock, available space for each citizen will shrink. If people have no choice other than to live in a smaller space, furniture will have to be made compact and the priorities of essential space may need to be rethought.

The type of living I create here is the mix of a typical bedroom and the minimal cabin, a transitional adjustment from typical room to cabin room. The type of living I provide is a preparation for the imminent scarcity of space when people have no choice but to live in the smaller spaces while still providing them with spatial quality. The communal spaces that serve these ‘Cabanon’ are numerous, hopefully elegant and designed to provide an alternative to the confines and inherent duplication of the typical distributed private space.

The building is located beside the canal and the marina, it is potential to expand to a public function that link to the water. After examining the Canalhouse in Nottingham as a reference, part of the ground floor is expanded to the Canal and become a beer pub. The pub will link to the boat landing area that allows canal boats access inside and anchor.

ST PANCRAS RESIDENTIAL, LONDON MARCH YEAR 2 VIGNETTE
The minimum size of an en-suite bedroom for one people is 12 m2 (London Housing Guide). This proposal is to accommodate, within this constraint, all functions into a minimal furniture occupying only half of the room. The remaining space is free giving user an empty, unfurnished space and the right to decide how that space will be used. The purpose of providing an extra space in the room is to give users the feeling of having more space than they expect. This is achieved by compressing all facilities that users need in a minimal space, giving them extra space for “free”. I call it “buy 1 get 1 free”.

YEAR-1 PROJECT
P3.01/
NOTTINGHAM LACE MUSEUM MARCH YEAR 1 DRAWING
Manifesto High Pavement lane is used as an unofficial car park, locates in the Lace Market area, which used to be a heart of the world’s lace industry during the British Empire and now is a protected heritage area. There were many sales rooms, warehouses for storing and selling the lace. The Lace industry used to be a link between Nottingham and the world through exporting and importing products. Shop

In addition, High Pavement lane is surrounded by many special building such as Lace Market Theater, Nottingham Contemporary, Pitcher and Piano, Galleries of Justice, St Mary’s church. Responding to the strong history of Lace industry and these neighbor buildings, a micro museum should be created and play a role of reflecting Lace industry history. The aim of micro museum in Nottingham is recalling the connection with the world by reflection the world’s lace industry, connecting with the art galleries, theater, church in order to renew cultural background of this area. STUDENT PROJECT SOUP KITCHEN NOTTINGHAM
GROUP WORK
P4.01/
SOUP KITCHEN - GROUP WORK MARCH YEAR 2 DRAWING
The initial idea behind the design was to create a space where homeless people could come and spend quality time with others. The exploration of the form changes through various stages, having the green roof as the key element, so that the homeless will have something to occupy their time with.

SOUP KITCHEN - GROUP WORK MARCH YEAR 2 DRAWING
Give and Take The idea of give and take came out of the main core of our design, the kitchen soup. A green roof will be included as well on the top roof of the structure to support this idea. Homeless people will grow herbs and vegetables on the green roof. This action will be more symbolic as the quantity of them will not be enough to meet the everyday needs.

The ground floor become an open structure which houses the soup kitchen. Space saving stairs have been implemented. These fold into one another when the top portion is not in use. This creates more space, in turn can be used as a table top. The entire structure is placed on wheels meaning the soup kitchen can be deployed anywhere at anytime.

Reducing the design was key. This in mind we adopted the minimum requirements that were needed for head room, walk way’s etc. 1900mm head room is sufficient for eating soup. First floor houses the gardens, again the principles of reducing the design have been injected into this. All proportions have been squeezed in order to reduce size and finally the cost of constructing this.
