The All Stars, Chef’s Table Dining Series Aims To Find Abu Dhabi’s Most Popular Restaurant

Calling all foodie aficionados, Chef’s Table Dining Series, part of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, brought to you by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Dining & Nightlife Middle East is quickly becoming Abu Dhabi’s most talked about culinary event.
Having already created a buzz around the Capital, the first month-long campaign ‘Travel Through Food’ took guests on a gastronomical journey, as Abu Dhabi’s best chefs created a range of unique menus, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s diverse culinary talent.
Participating restaurants for the first chapter of Chef’s Table Dining Series included Middle Eastern restaurant TEAN at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort, L.A favourite BOA Steakhouse, set on the tranquil Eastern Mangroves Promenade, the jewels of Italian and French cuisine at Cipriani and Fouquet’s, Cantonese-inspired street food at Dai Pai Dong, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Japanese flair at Aja Asian & Teppanyaki at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, Peruvian cuisine at COYA Abu Dhabi, Asian flavours at Sontaya, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, modern Indian cuisine at Punjab Grill, sensational steaks at The Forge, Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, and a European excursion at Market Kitchen in Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi. Chef’s Table Dining Series will consist of a total of five unique culinary events. Travel Through Food, which already gained much attention amongst foodies in the Capital has raised anticipation for the following chapters. The upcoming ‘An Emirati Twist’ taking place 15th September to 15th October 2020, will select 10 restaurants in Abu Dhabi which will select elements of Emirati culture to gather inspiration from and create a menu inspired by these elements. Chefs are offering a tribute to Emirati culture, taking influence from historical sites, Emirati dance, or calligraphy.
Giving you a sneak peek of what you can expect from Chef’s Table Dining Series - An Emirati Twist, below are some of the participating restaurants, for the full list please visit, www.diningandnightlife.com. Each of the mentioned restaurants will be creating delicious never seen before 5 course menus featuring vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, priced at an average of AED 350 per person. Dishes will be created to be visually stimulating and provide Instagram worthy moments.
Namak by Kunal Kapur, at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, invites guests to indulge in an exquisite Indian cuisine peppered with global influences. Namak celebrates the flavours of south Asia paired with bold plating, unique combinations, and cooking techniques from around the world.
Fishmarket, with its unique setting by the sea, its huge central counter displaying fresh seafood on ice plus a vast array of vegetables prepared to your desire, a dining experience at Fishmarket, InterContinental Abu Dhabi is not to be missed.
Hoi An, located at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi offers traditional Vietnamese cuisine, marked by delicate spicing and fresh flavours.
Rosemary Restaurant, set in the stunning Bab Al Qasr makes dinner an experience of atmosphere with its great location where families, friends and communities can enjoy the distinct flavours inspired by the seaside dining of the Mediterranean.
Tori No Su, at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers showcases awardwinning Japanese cuisine with a range of culinary innovation, expertly crafted dishes, and unique menu creations.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill, situated in Fairmont Bab Al Bahr offers dramatic interior design, including a back lit ‘flame’ wall, eclectic combination of innovative grill cuisine and classic English fare by award-winning celebrity Chef Marco Pierre White.
Tamba, Indian inspired cuisine. An ingenious reinterpretation of the flavours of the subcontinent, with a contemporary twist. Upcoming Chef’s Table events include, Art On A Plate, set for 1st November to 15th December 2020 which will feature restaurants each serving a variety of menus influenced by art, fashion, or music, be it Leonardo da Vinci’s artwork, Andrea Bocelli songs or Gucci’s latest line. Kicking off 2021, Revive x Reset x Relax will focus on health and wellness. Restaurants will create nutritious and dynamic menus from 1st to 30th January 2021.
Throughout each Chef’s Table event, three of the top performing restaurants will be invited to participate in the final campaign ‘The All Stars’ taking place 10th February to 10th March 2021. Here Abu Dhabi’s most talented chefs will battle for the title of ‘Abu Dhabi’s Most Popular Restaurant – Chefs Table Dining Series’.
Part of a wider seasonal initiative to encourage UAE foodies to explore a world of diverse culinary experiences in the safe and secure surroundings of Abu Dhabi, the Chef’s Table series is one of several activations which are set to transform the Abu Dhabi Culinary Season into a year-round programme of F&B experiences across the Capital.
