CAUTION

Use chock blocks or apply the trailer brakes when uncoupling or coupling the tractor and trailer on the road or in the terminal area. Also, use chock blocks for unusual conditions.

Improper coupling between a tractor and a trailer may cause serious accidents, which may result in property loss, serious injury, and death. Ensure the following before each trip: • The trailer has been properly coupled with the tractor. • The tractor has the sufficient capacity and specifications to safely tow the trailer.
