Both are available for viewing and download online; print copies have been sent to all Catholic schools of the Diocese. “The High School Open House document is to assure that students in sixth through eighth grades know how great our high schools are,” Dr. Schmidt said. “It’s a one stop shop to find out more about our high schools and their open house dates; it’s a go-to document for kids and their parents to help them know what the process is.” In addition to open houses, timely information such as admission testing and acceptance letter due dates are included. “I

remember walking in those doors and feeling excited but worried about what was coming. But the second I saw people I knew from sports, I knew everything was going to be okay. Starting a new school may be scary, but at Holy Cross we are a family. The most important piece of advice I could give is to participate within the school. At Holy Cross, not only can you be a student athlete, but there are also many diverse options for being in a club. One thing I appreciated was how even with COVID we were still able to come into the school with all the proper procedures. Overall, you will make a lot of memories in high school and the time will fly, so enjoy it.” – Nicole Czworkowski, ’22 Holy Cross Preparatory Academy
